Posted August 29 Could someone help me understand something? When I look through the listings I often focus heavily on the location due to travel time being a major factor. But I often see that the listings under a location are actually for someone half way across the state. Doesn't this defeat the purpose? I've definitely had a few false starts trying to set a time, only to find the person I'm talking to is a 90 minute drive away. I don't want to waste their or my time either, it's honest confusion. Posted August 30 Some companions will post in a location to see if there is sufficient interest to go spend a few days there. Also - I assume you ate aware that, on TOB, you can designate an area (DTC, Rockies) and view companions in that area. You can also search listing descriptions. This scenario is a strong indication that you will get no showed, or if asked for a deposit and you are foolish enough to pay said deposit, you will lose your money and not make the deposit you had planned on. If she is advertising concurrently in Boston, Miami, L.A. and Denver without a travel calendar then yes, probably as you say a scam. But if advertising at same time in say DTC, Denver and Broomfield? May just be the range she is willing to go on outcalls or limits she may hope guys will drive. Or say she is in Springs and advertises in Pueblo. Pickens so slim in Pueblo usually that guys drive north to springs. Might as well try to tap that market. Traveling ladies may advertise in the next few cities they are planning to visit. Posted September 3 I can’t answer for all, but for me, it’s because I’m willing to travel to other areas for an extended meeting. I enjoy getting out and driving for those who can plan ahead at least 24hrs. Reading is key. I’ve had several guys from Colorado Springs screen and book an appointment, only to cancel when I send them the address. “I thought you were in Colorado Springs.”.🫠 The other reason I advertise for other locales is to gauge interest.
