I was at the game at Coors Field when he tied the Home Run Record. I just love being part of HISTORY. It was just a line drive home run, nothing special about it at all except for that sweet spot sound of connecting that wood. Is there any PROOF that he actually use to use STEROIDS or continuous SPECULATION?

With all the masking agents out there I'll bet he never actually failed a drug test!

But you gotta know: ARod never failed a drug test!

And, the biggest juicer in all of sports (Lance Armstrong) ... never failed a drug test, either!

(He passed over 500 tests!)

I'll bet juicer Big Poppy never failed a drug test!

There are doctors out there who specialize in administering masking agents ... so that their patients can pass drug tests!

(Checkout Dr. Anthony Galea ... who counted ARod and Tiger Woods as patients!)

Checkout The Mitchell Report!

In the 90s ... I'll bet 90% of the players were on the juice!

The exceptions would be high-average, line-drive hitters (like Tony Gwynn,  Derek Jeter, Ichiro) ... who really wouldn't benefit from getting bulked up via the juice!

The juice can put an extra 15 feet on a barreled-up fast ball!

(It turns warning-track power into HR power!)

Plus steroids greatly improves visual acuity!

(BB said he could see the stitches on the ball as it was coming out of the pitcher's hand ... and he could predict the direction the pitch!)

Some juicers even boasted about being able to read the MLB logo on the ball as it was coming out of the pitcher's hand!

WOW!

Even the pitchers were juicers!

Roger Clemens was a big juicer!

Look at "Game Over" Eric Gagne ... he set the save record of 55!

Another big juicer!

(The juice transformed Mike Piazza's career!)

He was a complete UTR Nobody ... drafted in the 62nd round 1,390 overall!

THERE'S NWIH HE HAS a HOF CAREER without THE JUICE!

Look at before-and-after pictures of BB!

He gained an extra hat size!

(He looked like a Bobblehead!)

Also checkout the before-and-after pictures of another notorious juicer... Jason Giambi!

(While you're at it: Checkout the before-and-after pictures of "can't miss/ world beater", shameless juicer Tony Manadrich ... tackle out of MSU taken 2nd overall in the '89 draft (behind Troy Aikman))!

Like I said: All those shameless, big-name juicers in the 90s and the aughts never failed a drug test!

They only got exposed because of the BALCO Scandal!

(Mann Ram was the only big-name player to actually fail a drug test!)

All athletes are looking for an advantage ... an edge!

No?

I've heard stories about Willie Mays (R.I.P.) back in the day!

Back then steroids weren't a thing!

I heard in the Giants' locker room ... they would have 2 coffee pots ... one filled with coffee and the other pot was filled with amphetamines!

I heard before a game ... WM would dip his hand into the amphetamine coffee pot and grab a handful of speed pills (they called them bennies) ... and gobble 'em up!

(Especially during doubleheaders!)

Lenny Dykstra ... big juicer!

Look at his juicer teammate ... Darren Daulton!

He succumbed to steroid-induced brain cancer at 55!

(But, then again, all those inflated steroid-era #s should stand (without an asterisk) ... cuz, in a sense it was a level playing field! ... i.e., If juicer Roger Clemens is pitching to juicer Barry Bonds ... there is no particular advantage!)

Right?

The playing field, is, level: Juicer against Juicer!

No?

The undeniable poster child of the steroid era has gotta be Brady Anderson!

He went from 16 HR in '95 ... to 50 HR in '96!

Heello!

What's up wit dat?

(Let me ask you a trivia question!)

No Google!

What player during the course of his career ... had 3 seasons in which he averaged 64 HR  ... AND, NEVER WON a HR TITLE!

No Google!

Technically this is true.  I don't remember exactly but there was a drug in Lance Armstrong's system that went undetected because of the technology at the time when Lance compteted.  He would fail those tests today.  But your point is taken, athletes will find a way to pass drug tests

Did you play ANY sports? Its really easy to go from hitting 16 homers one season and 50 the next and that has nothing to do with juicing. Bonds head swelling could have easily came from gaining weight. If you don't believe me, ask a few guys who have gained weight if their head/face stayed the same size LOL. Its a reason why older guys like LL Cool J where big ass baseball hats to hide what they truly look like now that they have gotten older. I am not here to dispute all the juicing claims, I am more interested in THE HISTORY these guys produced and the times we enjoyed. Dude, when you think back to when Sammy Sosa/Mark A/Barry were going at it to see who was going to win the fucking title, man that was one of THE GREATEST ERAs in baseball. As far as the answer to your question, this is just off the top of my head, SAMMY SOSA/Big Hurt/ LOL.................... You are killing me with these trivia questions. You definitely kept your stats growing up, you remind me of my little brother. He wasn't that good in sports but he was a human sports almanac.................

Mr. "Corked Bat" ... Sammy Sosa is correct!

It's hard to believe that SS had seasons with 63, 64  and 66 HR ... and he didn't win the HR title!

(It's hard to wrap your mind around that!)

Steroids were obviously a paradigm changer!

The steroid era started with Tony La Russa, Sandy Alderson and The Bash Brothers!

La Russa and Sandy Alderson knew what they had in Jose Canseco and Mark McGuire and they pumped them full of dope!

(TL and SA were 100% complicit!)

Bud Selig was in on it, too!

They knew the Bash Brothers were juicin'-up in the locker room!

(They knew the Bash Brothers ... were all roided up!)

Cum On!

But, all those dingers were good for business!

They were the lead story on Sports Center ... every night!

The Powers That Be ... turned a blind eye to it all!

(They knew the A's trainer was bringing vials and syringes into the locker room!)

Lenny Dykstra is a classic example (of a shameless juicer)!

When he entered the league with the Mets he was a 5'10" 160 lbs weakling!

During his first spring-training game he got the bat knocked out of his hands by a big-league fastball!

(He saw the light right quick ... and decided it was time to get wit da program ....And, JUICE UP!)

Mike Piazza was another shameless juicer!

(Look where he was drafted!)

Juan Gonzales, too!

(In '98 he had 100 RBI ... BY THE ALL STAR BREAK!)

WTF!

Let us not forget the Gold Medal Olympians!

How about shameless juicer Michael Johnson?      (Surrendered His 4 Gold Metals!)

How about shameless juicer Flo-Jo?                          (Dropped dead at 38!)

Another MLB trivia question!

This is a tough one:

What pitcher threw a no-hitter ... and didn't strikeout 1 batter?

(You may have to Google this one!)

Hint: It wasn't Nolan Ryan, Roger Clemens or Pedro Martinez!

I am a huge CUBS fan but I didn't care too much for Sammy. I always viewed him as a FAKE SCRUB stuck in Right Field and in my opinion, he didn't belong in the same company as Barry Bonds. That team you are talking about with Mark and Conseco on it is actually my ALL TIME FAVORITE OF BASEBALL. They actually had my IDLE "Daddy Cool" (Rickey Henderson) THE GOAT as LEAD OFF HITTER. What a fucking team. Please don't tell me that Rickey was juicing?????????????????? Back to my idle LOL, I stole all of his moves and added a few things that he didn't have. As far as Michael Johnson, wow that guy ran THE PRETTIEST 200/400 turns that I ever seen. Flo Jo couldn't be touched. I have no idea to your trivia question. I first was going to pick Roger because I knew there was no way Nolan wasn't going to have no strike outs. Who is it, I give LOL?

My guess would've been a pitcher who pitches to contact (like Greg Maddox or Jamie Moyer)!

But the answer is: Kenny Holtzman.

In regard to that roided-up A's team ... HOFer Dennis Eckersley ... IS the BIGGEST WORLD SERIES CHOKE ARTIST** in MLB HISTORY!

(First he walks Mike Davis ( batting .196) ....THEN ..We All Know What Happened NEXT!)

Another trivia question:

Who is the only player to hit 2 grand slams (in The Same Inning) ... OFF THE SAME PITCHER!

All competitors are all looking for an edge!

I heard even archers are doped up!

The archers take masking agents to mask muscle relaxers.

The muscle relaxers help with giving them a steady hand when pulling back on the bow and aiming at the target.

Talking about looking for an edge, it doesn't only apply to humans: The doping of horses in horseracing is beyond notorious!

(I heard they play tricks with the greyhounds in dog racing!)

That's an excellent guess!

But, incorrect!

Did you realize that Mr. October was so locked-in in that WS game ... that he hit those 3 HR on a mere 3 pitches ... from 3 different pitchers!

(And, one of those pitchers was a knuckleballer!)

NOW, THAT'S BEING LOCKED-IN!

Back to the original question:

What I find amazing is that the starting pitcher was still in the game after the opposing lineup had batted around against him!

(What are the chances of that happening?)

I'm gunna give ya a hint: His son is currently a big-time player in the NL!

Tainted by scandal!

Bogus HOFer Dennis Eckersley and the '88 Chokeland A's cost me $50,000**!

True Story!

Here's My Loser's Story:

On October 15, 1988 I bet $50, 000 (in today's dollars)** at Caesar's Palace Sports Book in Vegas ... on the Chokeland A's to win the World Series!

(The Chokeland A's were prohibitive favorites against the No-Name Dodgers!)

The no-name '88 Dodgers (remember (any of) them?): Mickey Hatcher, Mike Sharperson, Mike Devereaux, Mike Davis, Dave Anderson, Tim Crews, Danny Heep, Jeff Hamilton, John Shelby, Franklin Stubbs et al.)

HOLLY S##T!

The odds in Vegas were Oakland -200.

(That's a BIG #!)

That means you bet $200 to win $100.

My $50,000** bet actually moved the line to -210!

I remember bellying up to the bar after the bet (still shaking) ... to down a well-needed cold one!

The gamblers saw on the big screen at the sports book bar ... that the line had moved to -210!

I distinctly remember one gambler remarking: "Aye, the line just moved to -210 ... some Wise Guy just banged the A's with some big money!"

There Ya Go!

(THAT "Wise Guy" ... WAS ME!)

THAT'S MY LOSER'S STORY!

**

The actual bet (in 1988) was $20,000!

(But, if you extrapolate that $20,000 (in 1988) to today's dollars ... it's the equivalent of $53,162 in 2024!)

OUCH!

ps

I learned my (rather expensive) lesson!

FT$!

No more gambling for me!

I piss away my mad $$$ ... only on Nubile, Mint-Condition P##sy ... from Here On Out!

psii

MLB fans will vividly remember the immortal words of Jack Buck (as a nearly-crippled Kirk Gibson was fist-pumping and hobbling around the bases): "I don't believe what I just saw!"

(And, MY $50K WAS on THE LINE!)

OUCH!

Wow, I LOVED THAT TEAM. I also LOVED THE 85 CHICAGO BEARS as well. We both have resentment from SPORTS it seems. I do not care for Mike Ditka, Mike Shannahan or Jerry Krause. If you want to get me in a FUNKY MOOD, mention those ASSHOLES. Sorry about your 50K Bro, I am sure you made a comeback. Plus you are part of HISTORY. I still stand by my ORIGINAL OPINION of you having ABSOLUTELY ZERO STREET CRED on TOB LOL. But I will give you SPORT CRED on TOB.

2 grand slams in 1 inning?

Fernando Tatis Sr.

Here's another MLB trivia question:

What player hit for the cycle (By the 4th Inning)?

(Hint: Rockies' fans might have a shot at this!)

Okay I have another TRIVIA for you LOL? Who did Michael Farmer strike out 4 times the first time he met them and the second time they met, the guy hit for the cycle? I will give you a hint? The guy that he struck out 4 times and later the second meet hit for the cycle against Michael Farmer is a member of TOB.

There can be no doubt that RH was greatest leadoff hitter of all time!

He was also the greatest base stealer of all time!

He's gotta lead MLB in the most

leadoff-hitter homeruns!

Another MLB trivia question:

The Dodgers had 5 consecutive ROTY from '92 - '96!

No Google!
