Never heard it before and couldn't wait to get home so I could get a recording of it and listen to it five times in a row. Very simple, fun song ... Played John Eddie in my DJ days, very surprised such good rock and roll didn't sell.

Posted September 24, 2021 (edited) May I add Potliquor to the list of rock bands that never reached the height of popularity their music deserved? In the boom time for southern rock I thought these guys were better than some that made it big. Edited September 24, 2021 by gr8owl

Posted September 29, 2021 A tune that everyone has heard, literally thousands of times, but have you ever actually listened to the whole thing? It's a great tune! It’s less than 2 minutes long and never fails to bring a smile every time I play it. For me, louder is always better. Enjoy

I chose the orchestra score for " Bare Necessities" as the curtain call music. Opening night, two little girls, spontaniously, started to sing as the curtain call started. In just a blink the entire audiance was singing. The second night someone in the audiance again started singing as the music and curtain call started. By the third performace the cast decided to go for it and join in on the sing along and just have fun. The remaining 12 peformances played out the same way. The cast did not care that they didn't get individual bows, they were having fun!! I have never staged a curtain call like it. Actually, I didn't stage it all, it just happened. Pretty sure I do not want every curtain call to go as the one for that run of shows did. Made me just a liitle crazy at first, but I have to admit they all had fun!!!!! Incredible connection between cast and audiance.
