It's not just the younger generation. There are plenty of men my age who are rude fools. I think it helps them feel better about themselves, and their need to pay for company, to treat escorts poorly.

I wish they'd work on their self-esteem, and empathy, rather act like children.

I agree 100& and I think Non Real Hobbyist are the worst , one's wanting Right Now and don't what to be putout with doing a screening ,  You Available Now.. Text or callers ,

My guess is sexual frustration and the lack of disposable income has gotten the best of them.  It’s definitely a very common disadvantage in men, but it’s not the majority.

Even small tweaks to a ladies marketing can make all the difference in the audience she attracts. Just keep making small edits till it’s just right!  I’m sure all of us ladies go through this phase, it will pass!

Why are the lyrics of today’s music so disrespectful?

Listen to some hip-hop or rap artist talk about his lady/ladies and compare that to the lyrics of a Sinatra or Stephen Foster tune.  I’m not trying to deflect from the OP, but it seems that respect has become a scarce commodity w/in our society as evidenced in our political discourse, our music, and in how we treat one another.  I would add that perhaps feminism and demands for equality have stripped away some of the special manners accorded to women.

@Dita, I’m sorry you’ve been treated poorly.  There are still a few men who treasure women.

^^ True ^^

But what do you do about your neighbors’ kids?  You get in trouble when you try to teach them the manners that their parents didn’t.

Unfortunately there's not a lot you can do. I have, on  more than one occasion, gotten a small amount of satisfaction be telling them exactly what a piece of shit they are and that they should thank their parents for turning them into a loser that everyone hates ... (or worse depending in the offending circumstance)

Personally there should be a place to post the names and numbers. I know they can be changed at the drop of a hat, but it will make it harder for them.  Maybe to the point they stop.

When you have people like Stevie, who are ignorant, lack empathy, and like being rude, just ignore them, and focus on people who actually want to enjoy your company. There are far more nice guys, than assholes!

I could comment on the complex reasons that some guys are so disrespectful...but my words could not possibly reflect the eloquent truth of their problems as succinctly as Red...

Never about specific activities, after giving my name I basically ask two screening questions of every provider, donation if not already posted and location type. A yes or no proposition, most times the exchange is over very quickly and they are filed accordingly. However, I've personally experienced your extra, blatantly rude responses and must guess from this post I'm not the only one. You will only get the respect you give in life.

I’m sorry some guys are so screwed up. But most are Great guys. Let’s focus on the better ones😄👠. Put that Fker on call block! That’s my solution he belongs on the street. Lave ya .

It’s not part of the Job. You have choices! Use them well

Pffft!! My window now closing :) after an unsuccessful day of strange fishing, I readily handled my frustration, disposable income intact :cool:Winning!

In my field, there's competition everywhere. A proper SWOT analysis AKA a good grip does wonders for one's ability to thrive or get out of the way. Therefore, check yourself before you wreck yourself might be the best tweak since, contrary to TOB default, it's not always the hobbyist.

Of course it's not. However, in your case, I suspect it is the hobbyist...;)

Let me clarify. Getting disrespectful  and sometimes hurtful responses are part of the job. But in my opinion you should never see them and personally block them right away.

BB, I suspect with being in the construction business like myself, there hasn’t been much time to hobby. And maybe he needs to give the right hand a break. 😚

Yes it is unfortunate! You gotta have some thick skin to work in this biz. I have been called every name in the book, and even some not in the book.  I have been propositioned to do some of the most vile and disgusting things you can imagine. I have been ripped off, have been made to feel unwanted and unattractive. But at the end of the day, I know that the things they say have no reflection on me and who I am as a person. Although some days are way harder than others, I wouldn't trade it for anything.  Having the freedom and flexibility to be there for my kids important moments is worth whatever I have to go through, not to mention I have some amazing clients that can make even the worst day feel like the best!

Well said and couldn't agree more. You are very beautiful by the way.

I don't claim to know much about anything.  But there is no reason in my book to be disrespectful to ANYONE. If someone disrespect you (of course if the person decides to get in my personal space) i would very politely try to defuse the situation. Up to certain point. But people we live in a world where for what ever reason you are here, we are looking to connect with other human beings.  I am sure you have heard this....

Treat people like you want to be treated. It's not rocket science. Today a lady posted on Twitter and stupid me I said something about it. She responds in a very on your face way. The only thing I said was very mature of you part. I had to block this person  and I have no idea she found my email address.  She decided to keep going there... she called me a coward for leaving her hanging.  I said to her...

Why keep going on this and be so confrontational and disrespectful.

Didnt hear back from her. Like my Granpa said to me... If you dont have something constructive or nice to say. Then dont open your mouth.

I have tried to go by his words.

Life is to short as it is..

Treating anyone with respect goes a lot farther than not...

I don’t think this is limited to the hobby. I think it’s all over society. And with social media, it’s getting worse. People are more brave about their rudeness cause there is less fear of getting punched in the face.

I was raised to treat people people the way you want to be treated.

That said, I’ve also been on the unfortunate end of the guy messaging after the guy that was super rude, and thus I got cursed out. It’s happened twice. The first time the lady apologized and we ended up meeting and she told me I made her night. The 2nd was so rude that I ended up blocking g her number.

Never could figure out why everyone isn't treated with respect. We only travel this road once. Make it count.;)
