Good grief, this again!  If you do "search the archives" be thorough and see what a couple of the main accusers were accused of.  Just sayin'.   General rule, if you weren't there and don't know one or other very well, he said she said (or she said she said!!) means give both a wide berth.  It was clear there was bad shit happening, but on which side and/or both ......... ???

For what it’s worth, in this case I knew one of the accusers fairly well. 

On the other hand, the shit hit the fan while I was out of town.

But what I was trying to point out was that LE infiltration is effectively handled w/o reviews.

I’ll clarify on my part in that I was talking about the specific phrase “not LEO” since it basically goes without saying as you pointed out. “It’s whats not being said.”

Back in the before time of TOB  ( 15-20 years ago) this was also a topic.  Many ladies did not like, or allow, reviews with details or acronyms. Most of the time the real reason for that was to disguise the limitations of the services.....to at least get guys to pay ONCE to be told "No".  Now we have the  L.E. internet stuff creating the need for blocking details. No doubt pretty much everyone liked it better before, except maybe those ladies hiding their limits. Let's be clear here however. This new paradigm is no day at the beach for the ladies either....it costs them business. I will use myself as an example. I absolutely refuse to pay a rate in order to find out if the French is translated or not, mutual or not. If the info cannot be obtained from reviews....other members...or contact with the lady....NEXT. I do not give said ladies another thought. I'm sure I have logged some as "forget it" that would have provided what I like.....but tough shit......If I'm buying a $300 concert ticket, I DAMNED sure intend to know who's on stage FIRST. If I can't find out...my hand can turn on the radio for free and will happily do so without bitching.

He was current, he had reviews, a call to his list of providers provided a solid reference of the guy. An outcall to a budget motel was set up with the girls. They were charged with prostitution.  If they had a driver, the driver was charged with promoting prostitution . Sometimes reviews can work in LE's favor too.

These guys are the sleaziest of the sleaze. They are willing to send several people to jail, and ruin some lives, because they committed a crime, and don't want to face the consequences. Chicken shit sleazeballs! 

And as for the OP...if you don't like the reviews, don't read them.

Just saying creativity can be encouraged. If i/we can’t figure it out I’ll/we’ll move on. Yes my reviews are hypocritical, but those were early in my experience here. As for being limited in number I’ve read that posting 1 bad review will get you blacklisted by many providers. And the couple good 1’s either take down account shortly after or everyting that has been said in reviews was exact and no reason to me to post it. Some guys would prefer a provider that had 15 reviews as opposed to 110, Just sayin. Wasn’t expecting the amount replies, but really good points by everyone that replied. Thank you.

I've never understood this. Do you believe that 15 reviews means she sees fewer clients? It doesn't. It may mean she's had a shorter career, doesn't inspire writing, or discourages reviews. Ms 15 may see more clients than Ms 110. No way for you to know.

Stop the over thinking! The # of reviews a lady has means nothing. Many clients don’t do reviews. They wish to keep what they know about a certain lady to themselves. So be it!

IMHO the number of reviews does matter, as does who wrote the reviews.  A few (<6) glowing reviews by unknown clients raise caution flags.  Are they self or management reviews?  🥴

If there are 1-2 glowing reviews from well established clients or more than a dozen positive reviews - good to go 😁

For those who seriously live on TOB sure. I can understand your concerns totally for trying to stay safe, However if you are a lady and you know how to verify clients. You can do just fine with less reviewers and you know it is not a personal reflection on your abilities, looks, or environment.  

Another issue is that some of the active reviewing clients “WELL ESTABLISHED TOB CLIENTS”  might just make a choice not to review a certain WELL ESTABLISHED PROVIDER” Not sure why? Yet that also often happens. Go figure on that one?! Is there a stigma implied if you review certain ladies?! -Hell I am just tossing that cookie out there for you to chew on! Many ladies I know (here on TOB) have experienced this too in the past.  Just wondering what that’s all about?! What’s the deal?

So what exactly is a "contributor to the community "??  I guess I missed the checklist for how many months you have to belong to TOB, how many reviews you need to have, and how many time you need to "post" before you can be taken "seriously " on the board........

There are actually some members who quietly use the board for information and post reviews when they have a session.  Some of us don't feel the need have posted 2,600 times and feel like that makes me something special......

In the current atmosphere as long as one can tell she is not a sting, not a rip off, does respond quickly is a reasonable expectation.  Wording like "everything covered", "moderate safety rules" are definitely appreciated add ons.  Explicit detail just asks for trouble in post Sesta/Fosta and always created many unreasonable expectations because YMMV always comes into play.

      In the mid 1970s,when I started at the RMO (Rocky Mountain Oyster for the newbies ) . They actually had all the escort ads listed as personals.  Men seeking women,Women seeking men,women seeking women,men seeking men etc etc.  One would have to write,not call, write whichever personal ad they liked..none were more than a sentence, put it inside an envelope,make the envelope in the bottom right hand corner with the number of the ad .then stick that envelope within another envelope,add in a dollar bill for forwarding fees. Then wait by the mailbox for a reply.Ladies personal ads were free,men had to pay for their ads.  (no phone numbers were allowed in the personal ads ,the boss wanted those one dollar bills )

As I recall, women seeking men and men seeking men got the most response.

So if you think things are bad now or not up to your expectations...think again. The hobby has come along way.

No, you're not, and it's OK.

As for the reviews, the rules have changed with the introduction of federal legislation designed to supposedly to reduce human trafficking. (Personally I think most politicians at the federal level work only to maintain their lifestyle at the federal level.)

Since then, two years ago if memory serves, reviews have become less descriptive.

There is some inconsistency some reviews are very generic and convey the lady is legit. The intent is not to embarrass the lady, as the saying goes YMMV.

I had a review denied with the note from administration. "Please resubmit the review with more details in the experience field as she has less then 10 reviews ".
