My concern is that there may be a shortage of used bourbon barrels to age my Scotch. 😰

However I have lately been discovering Rye Whiskey.  Here in CO there’s Tin Cup.  This year I found a TX rye with hints of tobacco & jalapeño. 😊

I see a price increase in Jim Beam. Glad that's not my favorite.

They have 3.3 million barrels in storage. They lost 45,000.

There won’t be a shortage or a price increase.

Hopefully Mila Kunis was not in the warehouse at the time.

Sorry, but I’m up in the mountains & my bottle is in Denver.  I’ll post a picture of the label next week.

I heard a report that they said this little loss (45k is a little?) will not affect the supply.  I haven’t heard about price.

They should have thrown some ice in with the water they poured on the place. Now I am going to have to use the good stuff on my cuts.

I use Bulleit Rye for everyday drinking. I'll have to try Tin Cup.

You need to try Sudden Wisdom Rye. Seriously smooth sippin' whiskey!

Back in my drinking days, when I had the funds to get the good stuff, I would get me some Skyy vodka or Crown Royal. Proud to say that I now am 6 years sober. As AC/DC would say have a drink on me. Where can I set up the tab for you. LOL!!!

There's plenty of good stuff made right here in CO: Stranahans,  Tin Cup, 291, etc. Buy local! ;)

As promised

It’s called Balcones, from Waco, TX.  Pot distilled and bottled at 100 proof (50%).

For some reason, even when shrunk to 38K, I can’t paste the image.

It’s there when I hit submit, but disappears when posted😨

I was having the same problem with an image of Sudden Wisdom Rye. I shrank it to much less then 38K and it still kept telling me that the image couldn't be over 38K...

The image is there prior to hitting SAVE or SUBMIT REPLY, but disappears in the thread.

Text Editor --->
Inserting images by clicking on the [ Insert other media]
  • Selecting [ Insert image from URL]
    • enter full URL for an image ending of course with either (gif, jpeg, jpe, jpe, jpg, png, bmp)

example the URL ends with.jpg

Right

What is the URL of a photo on your iPhone or Windows machine if you don’t have a webpage?

I’m trying to paste an image copied into my clipboard into a post.  The post looks right up until I hit SUBMT.

In the text editor like Bit said. I would click on "choose files", select the file on my computer only to get the popup box saying that "You are only allowed to upload 30.72kb." I had downloaded the image onto my desktop, resized it and then tried to upload it. I resized it down to 25kb and it still wouldn't go.
