In the providers information on their listing the terms Escort or FBSM is used to inform of services. I have now noticed the Term Alternative and am at a loss to what it means.

It is a category that is searchable for the listings. In other words, owner/operator of the board created it and would be best qualified to define.  Probably legal reasons that say they can't.  You could go with anything not covered by escort, FBSM, BDSM, Tantra or TS/TV (the other categories for choice).  As long as it is done GFE  (yes, there is gratuitous sarcasm in there)

Perhaps your very good source could explain what is covered by the category "BDSM" then.   I would more assume it covers Nuru, femdom, aroma therapy, group including bukake, etc.  But again, owner created the category, I will defer to him/her for a definition.

Chuckles aside, that pretty much explains it. It also explains why 'Alternative" is actually a pretty good name...it is an "alternative" to the normal escort\provider sessions. That is as unfortunate as it is true. The providers do a very good job of compartmentalizing their feelings in order to do their work, but usually, alternatives, like BDSM are an either\or proposition. The Dominatrix will explain that the services of an escort are "not part of the lifestyle". For many providers, BDSM is ok.....or escort is ok...but not a blend. My guess is that combining the two disrupts the ladies repression and compartmentalization mechanisms making it too uncomfortable. Now....if you find a hot, edgy lady who can seamlessly enjoy blending the two? Well then...buckle up my friend!!
