Posted March 19, 2019 (edited) Tax season. Family get-aways, as it's Spring break season. Peak of skiing season. Might pick up later in the week, as March Madness starts for real on Thursday, and then guys have an excuse to come home late, sneak away. And maybe a few extra Schekels in their pockets from a successful wager or two. ADD: since OP is in COS, wonder if maybe still feeling some affects of the government shutdown: some folks still working back the bank account to have some extra play money around. I have received more quotes of 2 roses compared with 3 or 4 these days Really how many 6 rose providers are there in town.... maybe more than we think? Posted March 20, 2019 The time between Xmas and May is traditionally slow for many businesses. People put off car repairs so mechanics say their business is slow, etc. Christmas bills, property taxes, car insurance, house insurance, and now income taxes hit me this time of the year. Fortunate I only have to pay these once a year. Years ago I made friends with several ladies when they welcomed me as a new member to various boards. I found it flattering when a lady made the initial contact to welcome me. Sending a PM to a member after a interesting post is a nice ice breaker. Good luck! This is not the industry to take rate advice from clients about your business, because they're coming from a selfish standpoint disguised as helping. Just saying. I've been moving around to different cities in Colorado and picking up new regular clientele. It's been exciting, and It's helped a lot.
