Condom Broke - Freaking Out a Little

We were going at it pretty good, and at some point the condom broke.  I saw an ad from her after I saw her advertising BB.  If I had known that BB was on the menu I wouldn't have seen her.

And now, the tip of my dick burns a little when I start peeing.  This has been going on since Thur night.  Obviously freaking out a little from all this.  I am normally super clean and hygiene-obsessed.  Seems a little soon to see symptoms from most STI's that I am aware of, so I am hoping that it's just a UTI.  But men don't tend to get those very often.

Guess I am going to the clinic on Monday...

This is never an issue when doing BDSM.  I think I'll stick to that form now on.

Just go to your doctor if you have health insurance. Lot cheaper and have him/her do a full blood workup on you. I do it on a regular basis cause I have high BP, so blood sugar, cholesterols, and STI's all BOOM at one time. My BP is a 900 lb gorilla. No other issues, 62 in May and not diabetic, or even close, stuff like that. Plus doc will have you screened for everything under the sun, clinic won't.

Honestly the best thing to do is go to the doctor and get tested. Even if you're results are negative They will give you some meds and you will be fine. 

The piece of mind to know that you are clean is definitely worth the time and effort that you will have to make.

I've been pounding water for 2 days now.  Hoping that help clear stuff up.  Unfortunately most STI's take a couple of weeks to show up on tests.  Will be a fun couple of weeks.

Many would think this is excessive - many would think this is normal.  Eye of the beholder and truthfully whatever needs to be done so you feel like you are 'dating' as safely as possible...

Just me, but: Melissa, thank you - I commend your dedication to dating safe!!

And if anyone is hedging their bets on the side of safety with higher frequency of STI testing then so be it.  There are a few of these STI's that can be present without presenting symptomatically.  And a few of them that take a few weeks to show up on a test.

I have always liked reading posts from ladies that are comfortable letting us know they get tested regularly.  Makes me feel like they are a much 'safer' date than many others.  Just my opinion:  the more everyone gets tested the better, as it can truly make dating safer in this little pool of shared lust...

 

OP,  most have said it but get tested according to your doc's instructions - then you will know and can manage accordingly - i hope the results come back all good and these are just psychosomatic symptoms you are experiencing.  I've never had a condom break on me in my lifetime; but, i imagine the mind can take that experience and lead your being into fearful places.  Hang in and bon chance!

I get a full-panel blood test every six months and so far, so good (knock on wood).  This is despite several condom breaks (never the ones I supply) and some fairly nervous waiting periods, so I think the odds are likely on your side.  When this happens, the professional advice is to:

1.  Immediately go pee,

2.  Shower well with soap,

3.  Pee again.

Nothing more you can do from that point on.  As I said, the odds are likely with you.

Of course none of this is anywhere as interesting as when a provider jumps off in cowgirl, rips off the condom, and then jumps on again and says, "Come deep inside me, I want my boyfriend to taste you when he eats me tonight."  Could that actually ever happen? Possibly..........

Mike, these things happen. I remember a few years back thinking I was a porn star. Man, I use to hump my dates for long periods of time. Heated prolonged sessions and small condoms are not a great combination.....

I was going to wait until tomorrow and go see my regular doc, but I gave in and went to an emergi-care today.  They agreed that it's best to play this one safe.  I got a Z pack and some other stuff.  Altogether it cost $350.  Ouch.  But worth the peace of mind.

Ya know Mike...maybe this activity is just not for you. You just seem too skiddish. Condom failure is just one of the risks of this gig. How many civilian women have you "done" WITHOUT a condom, any of which could have delivered a deadly dick rot?  ( it is a rhetorical question, please spare us the standard male assurance that we would only bare bang a Doctor certified virgin wife). Ya pays your nickle, you takes your chance. It's not really that easy to catch a dose of...whatever. It does not incubate like the flu on steroids.
