Most Romantic place to stay in Springs

27 posts in this topic

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a special place in the Springs to spend some time with a lady friend. Any suggestions on nicer hotels/resorts to stay at? Thanks in advance.

The Cliff House Lodge in Manitou Springs. Very romantic place. Rose pedals on the bed and all that stuff.

Broadmoor would be my second.

Very good choices.

A bit off the beaten path so to speak Holden House or St. Mary's Inn

My first choice: Black Forrest Lodge. Secluded, off the beaten path, Very Romantic!

Old Town Guest House is fun. In Old Colorado City close to several great restaurants. Jake and Tilly's being one

2nd gr8owl suggestion of St Mary's Inn

I second Holden House.  We stayed in the Pike's Peak Suite and it was wonderful.

All the previous replies are good. Also: Cheyenne Mountain Resort or the Antlers Hotel, an upper floor, facing Pikes Peak.

Maybe check out the Broadmoor's Cloud Camp - Spencer Penrose's hunting lodge perched atop Cheyenne Mountain overlooking Colorado Springs.

The Garden of the Gods Resort and Hotel has some incredible views of Pikes Peak and the G.O.G. with great dining.

Manitou has some great AirBnB's if you want to experience the hood a bit....

The Cliff House is great!  I've lost track how many times there. Dining is great too in the main restaurant, the bar at the opposite end of the building, or out on the huge front porch.

Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day. Love to all the ladies out there. So a quick follow up on this topic. I opted for the Garden of the Gods resort for the views and dining. Incredible experience. Hospitality was fantastic and helped to make it a great time. Highly suggest getting one of the Club deluxe suits with the views. Far off to the side too, so we didn't wake the neighbors. ;-)

One warning about Airbnb...

I was listening to a local radio show the other morning and a woman who rents an Airbnb called in and admitted that she has hidden cameras throughout her rental home. She stated that she does this to prevent unauthorized activities and damage/theft to her property. She  also stated that she's used her surveillance to break-up parties by people staying at her Airbnb. In other words, she doesn't just loop-record the cameras for evidence after-the-fact: she actively monitors the people while they are staying in her Airbnb. Apparently, the Airbnb terms-of-service permit security cameras in common areas like living rooms, etc. But this woman admitted also having hidden cameras in the bedrooms, which is a HUGE invasion of privacy. I think one should assume that, when staying at an Airbnb, you may be under surveillance in any room of the house, possibly even bathrooms. I know that hidden cameras have also been found in hotel rooms, but those are rare and not installed by the hotel.

Just something to consider.

You mean that each time I stay at an Airbnb with my dog they record how much I talk to him?😂😂

I'm purchasing an airbnb, and the only way people can stay there is with their owner plus consent to be recored. Entertainment forever! 😂

It is illegal to record audio and video and do live surveillance without it being stated in the rental contract.

There’s a lot of people who do illegal things. Very sad.

If you use escorts...that may mean you, and me too!

I didn't say it was legal. I said it happens.
