Posted January 9, 2019 When I stop to think about it, we always say stock show weather is supposed to be freezing cold. And occasionally it is. But the majority of the time, Denver is a balmy 40-60 in January. In fact, our average daily temperature in January over the last 100 years is low 40’s. We just remember the bitterly cold temps more. I used to play at that lifestyle (with regular horses and steel ones). On regular horses, I was an odd ball. I didn't ride Western or English...I rode Aussie. But circumstances changed, priorities got altered and now the only thing I ride is a bicycle and ....
