I don't think the prices will go down. They cater more to corporate events. With all of the options for lodging I don't see locals, or vacationers paying $29 per night just for self parking.  I stayed there, got up the next morning and went to get coffee from one of the shops. They had a breakfast burrito for $13.... The restaurants are nice, but people were waiting 2 hours for seating, and some were turned away. From what I hear that food wasn't that great either. I drove 3 miles away to get pizza.

The may get some high rollers from the stock show which starts tomorrow, I doubt any of the Rodeo cowboys will stay there.

My New Favorite Aurora Place to be LOL.. They were offering discounted tickets on Opening Week that I was lucky to grab @$149 each for Colorado Residents. The Food needs Work but Dessert was Amazing! Lots to look at and do :)

I doubt if it will get cheaper, Gaylord only builds or owns high end hotels and they used to own the Broadmoor in COS.

I worked out there for 17 months and never had a chance to see the finished product. Perhaps I should invite one of the lovely TOB ladies to go check it out with me.

A friend took his wife there for breakfast Saturday morning.

Parking plus 2 breakfasts with coffee = $100. Food was good but not that good.

All this talk makes me need to go and be pampered.  I will report back with quality of sheets, scotch and just how soundproof the rooms really are 😂

Admin...may I post a review on the hotel?🤔

From the rules/Guidelines:: Information that draws unneeded attention to specific localities isn't allowed,

Looking at the web site for the Gaylord of the Rockies, the cheapest hotelnroom is $218. Add in taxes and resort fees and you are up to $280.

Then WiFi At $14.99 and self parking at $29.00 and you are now at $324.

I would stay there for a special occasion with a special lady.

All, if you call (as opposed to book online) they are giving special discounts for CO residents. I just booked for $168 each room.

Isn't knowing if the rooms are soundproof needed attention? 🤔🤔😂😂😂

It takes 2 (or more) to really do a high quality check on the soundproofing.  If you need help, I'll volunteer !!  ;)  We could offer to do the "soundproof testing" free of charge to the hotel, rather than bill them for the test (I'm assuming they would provide the room for free for an unbiased test).  Actually, now that I think about it, doing the test on just one room is not enough of a sample size.  We may need to enlist a number of TOB members to check the soundproofing on multiple rooms on multiple floors....simultaneously.  That would be a service we could provide the hotel, at no cost to them. ^_^

That place looks HUGE! A special lady visit for sure. Wish there was more activities to do there. I believe there's a game room at least. I like the gambling tables idea. Throw in a putt putt or something else for that kinda money though. Geez! $14.00 for internet? Shit better reply to all my work emails for me at that price.

If I wanted to spend that kind of money on a hotel room (and I don't, unless it is in San Francisco), I would stay at the Brown Palace.  Much better location too, who wants to stay east  of  Aurora?  It was built for convention business, and that looks like all it is good for.

Has anyone checked-out the place. I went there last weekendand it’s AMAZING.

I did check it out. I’d prefer if they paid me to park there so I can purchase overpriced food and beverages.
