Favorite rendention of your favorite Christmas Carol

18 posts in this topic

So many great renditions of Christmas music. Just wondering  what the favorites might be. I like a lot of the newer, jazzier versions well enough. Especially Trans Siberian Orchestra and Mannheim Steamroller.  I must admit that the old school in me is still partial to the likes of Perry Como, Andy Williams, Nate King Cole and Dean Martin. Whats yours?

There are many great ones, but this song signals Christmas to me.

Still my favorite.  That touching story about what Christmas is really like for the lower-class British kids:

Joy to the World is my favorite, any version! I just love bringing joy to others, so it fits me.

I believe she has a duo partner for x-mas eve named Mary.

I  love the old  spiritual  ... "Got tell it on the mountain, that jesus likes his whores". Always gets me swaying.
