Posted October 7, 2019 Great song. I saw Vince interviewed for the rectn Ken Burns production of Country Music and I didn't recognize him. But there is no mistaking that voice.

Mark calendars for next September and next blues and brews and hope to see you there. Best can give you is three years ago: Samantha plays Blues From The Top in winter Park and Louiseville St Faire every year.Much shorter drive than Telluride.

I was talking to my mom yesterday about Telluride. Better than Purgatory in my own opinion. So long ago.❄️

She is worth it!! That said, not everyone lives in Denver (thank God!!). From my neck of the woods Telluride and Winter Park are pretty much a wash. And, comparing Louisville to Telluride, yes it is closer, but even ignoring having to go through the gap and denver to get to Louisville it is Telluride hands down for scenery, relaxation and fun.
Posted October 10, 2019 But speaking of opportunities to see a great show, next Tuesday the 15th at the Paramount Theatre "Experience Hendrix Tour" featuring amongst others one of my faves Ana Popovic But many others including Buddy Guy, Joe Satriani, Taj Mahal. Same tour in Springs the following day but sadly does not appear Ana is on that bill.

Been a fan of Samantha Fish since she first played Blues From the Top,before her first CD came out ! Also seen her sister Amanda perform. Mentioned Louisville as some of us simply cannot make it to Telluride. Have seen her play indoor gigs too, such as the Blue Star benefits and the Toad Tavern. Also seen Samantha's appearances as a member of Girls With Guitars and The Healers. (seen pictures of Telluride,it is beautiful.but my idea of roughing it is sharing a hotel suite with three girls and you have to book at least a year in advance to get a room up there during their festivals ) Edited October 10, 2019 by JRWolfe correcting typo

He has a large number of truly excellent albums both with and without the White Flames and also played with one of the bands on the recently released nominees for rock hall of fame, Thin Lizzy. He is one of my all time favorite guitar players, but not widely known, sadly enough.

But through the first 4 pages of thread all is kosher, and then ..... strange. Anyway, which of the three did you mean lol?? Bonamassa not Stevie Ray : both are in my all time favorite top 20 or so guitarists, after which probably pointless to argue which is "best". Hey, speaking of strange

I like Chris Stapleton and this is one of his best, but ................................. listening to him is not listening to Country. They may put him on the Country charts, but that is just plain ole southern blues.

When Stevie died in a crash, it left a hole in southern blues.
