Posted October 24, 2018 I subscribed to Playboy in the late 90’s through the early 2000’s. They are all just sitting in a trunk in my basement and I have no idea how to get rid of them. They might be worth money, but I have no desire to advertise them. I can’t just recycle them or throw them away because my kid takes out the trash. I’ve thought about doing a “midnight run” to an unmanned recycling center, but driving around late at night to a closed recycling facility with a hundred Playboys in the car is how people end up “internet famous”. At this point I’m thinking I’ll probably just burn the house down and rebuild with the insurance money (although the magazines would probably be the only thing that would survive).

You have lots of friends on here, so we can make bail money if you get arrested breaking into the recycling center. You know the trunk would be prestin in the ashes.

Before one move, rather than take them to the new house, I donated many of them to a few non-profits that could share them with the people they serve. I still have some books, but not in the hundreds any more. I've gone to the "dark side" (where I said I would never go) and got a kindle. Have discovered that the library has a large number of e-books that are easy to check out and free. Never thought that would happen.

I would have to agree with this wise man,the only thing I collect these days are memories, you never have to worry about them getting broken, or stolen, and no one will ever have an identical set. And you don't need a hidey hole to keep them in. Have fun and be safe you wonderful people.
