If you are saying that you saw lots of patrol cars in the area, that has nothing to do with the hobby. Posted October 18, 2018 pfunk is right. GV is into collecting revenue as well as keeping the town out of the news for crime. Do your due diligence on us ladies. Most of us know how to run a good business, and select safe/fun dates. Just do your homework. If seeing a patrol car (or heat), scares you away from an area, this may not be the right hobby for you. If you are nervous, it makes us nervous, and that = no fun. If you are not sure how to check out potential dates, maybe one of the guys can help you. Posted October 18, 2018 I think DTC is particularly safe because four different LEOs have jurisdiction (Denver for part, Greenwood Village for part, Arapahoe county for part, and Centennial for part) and I don't think any one of them wants to put much emphasis on this issue and they each tend to think of it as the other jurisdiction's problem. Posted October 18, 2018 As a provider who works often in the DTC I can promise you the police presence is not due to the hobby. Any time you have a large metropolitan area with a dense population there will inevitably be a large police presence. Posted October 18, 2018 As long as you don't have a stamp on your forehead saying "I'M GONNA HAVE SEX WITH A ESCORT NOW-FOLLOW ME!" the presence of Law Enforcement isn't much to worry about. Large hotels have officers on hand for easy removal of boisterous guests and GV looooves their traffic violations money! I'm also a visitor and I only stay in DTC when I come up. I haven't had a chance to venture out yet. But I haven't had any problems, low volume, nice hotel's, and they are so busy Me or my clients are the last thing on they mind....Actually I think that's why I stay over there. Posted October 18, 2018 I usually don’t let it bother me, not my first time, but 5 cars all on the side streets near the hotels and sitting out of site. Posted October 19, 2018 There's always patrol cars hanging around dtc parking lots. Oddly enough, I never see them pulling anyone over, I never hear about anyone in the hobby getting in trouble, and I never hear sirens.
