Here's a Tip - Don't Drink and Drive

77 posts in this topic

In response to asking their donation, I recently had a provider state "these are minimum donations. tips are appreciated". She didn't like my response which was, "lol. that was tacky" to which she responded, "It may be tacky but I have a family to feed". Don't we all. Am I mistaken or does excellent service come first?

That type of attitude from the provider certainly would have eliminated any interest I had in her.  Not only would she not get a tip but she lost the upfront meeting.

I got no more responses after taking the liberty of saying just that on behalf of us all

Hi happy feet...good to see you back😊

A tip asked for upfront...that’s a red flag and a good call to not move forward.

Thanks Laci. Always a pleasure to be in your company, I'm sure. Happy feet

Call me crazy but l usually don't tip on the first visit. But once we become regulars things change.

Sometimes it's dinner , gifts, going out shopping with your friend. Great to see them try things on.

And other times l round up.

All depends on how the connection is cultivated.

If you only bring the agreed amount on the first visit it also keeps you from falling into the up sell trap. i never tip the first visit because I only have exact change with me.

This. But will bring a little extra, in casd lady wows me on first visit, or, FBSM provider with a more expansive menu when behind closed doors.

But, yeah, getting the hustle up front just comes across as agency scam and or crappy experience all around.

Too bad you can't write a review, because according to our mods this experience never took place.

You think the OP should review a conversation? Really?

Tips are always appreciated never expected. With donation amounts being what they are it is in fact quite tacky to ask... hint... demand... tips. After all TIPS stands for To Insure Proper Service, but I take that as meaning-provide amazing services to insure the tips are earned!

But as for the headline on this thread PLEASE DO NOT DRINK & DRIVE!!!!!

Good rule too!  The last thing I would ever want to read is reviews of telephone calls.

Back in the day....as far back at least as 2000, many providers had a min rate + tips. It was pretty standard practice.

I remember the going rate in Co. springs was $120 + tips. It had nothing to do with service given, it was the way donations were stated. It was answering the question of what a ladys rates were. Then the tip could be whatever.

Maybe this provider you are referring to is coming from that same rate format. I don't know for a fact if that standard of donation + tips went away, or when it did, but maybe where she is from, it never went away.

Seems you are a newbie, so find out first before giving someone a hard time. It was a very standard way of setting donations.

I've been in this much longer than 2000 and never heard of min rate plus tips, but then again I was in Dallas and H-town.

Must have been some very trusting and trustworthy hobby people back then in Colorado.

Happy feet, I think your avatar just makes people angry:)

Well, maybe in your area it was different. My post, as mentions, is referring to Co. Springs.

Yes, it’s been going on forever. And never appreciated by the guys. We call it an UpSell, standard practice of many agencies. The publicly quoted fee is for her to show up.  All on the up & up, companionship or maybe dancing. Can you say Denver Ladies?  Next comes the $50-100 increments of “promised” service.

What was standard here in Co. Springs, that I was referring to was 'NOT' upselling. It was all collected upfront. $120 + tips. Upselling is something different to what I'm referring to.

No. What Bit is talking about is just upselling. That is not what I was referring to. It was all collected upfront before the session began. Upselling is something else. The price + tips was also stated at time of booking because it was for ladies that advertised in the newspaper.

Sounds like you say Tomato and he says Tomato.  ( not sure how to type this but you know what I mean)  Base to show up plus tips or Up Selling boil down to the same thing, just No.  Tips are for the Wow factor not for the same old same old.  Just my opinion....

I've been seeing escorts in Denver since the 1970s (Oyster, Sowet, TOB). I've never experienced this. I've always been told the price is xx for the half, and xxx for the hour. Never discussed tips in advance. Never been quoted a "price plus tips" prior to the meeting. I have been upsold after arriving. I really dislike that.

I often tip above the quoted donation, but that's voluntary, and done after the appointment.

Maybe this was a Springs practice?

Upselling is based on a donation for ** such and such. Or another donation for ** such and such. That is different to $120 + ** (usually a flat 50 making total 200), collected up front and 'All inclusive'. It was stated on the phone at set up and agreed upon as the full rate and collected at begin of date.

Hope that clarifies the difference.

As I stated in my post, yes it was standard practice in Co. Springs. It was also for us providers that advertised in the Independent newspaper.

Thanks for your old millennia input, Nina. Newbie or not, rate + tips is passé and, as you see from this thread (and your website), not the way it's done nowadays. Not to mention, the YL is in her early 20's so, unless she's your protégé, definitely not old school. Most importantly, a ratchet ho lost in a sea of providers providing hobbyists innumerable options (TOB, skipthegames, adultllook, escortmonkey...), she is likely pricing herself out of existence and will be on the dole in no time, if not already.

Thanks for your input, Mr. Pink. I've always suspected the mods could track my phone activity, thanks for confirming. The "I don't expect but I ask...I expect the full donation" should be the only reference needed to prove it did.

Oops.

I've learned that bitches will be bitches and that some have dicks. Always one in front of the other, my feet come in peace.

It would have been of text messages but, your point is well taken. If I can help one newbie hobbyist avoid a bad experience or a newbie provider earn one encounter, it will have been worth the scorn. After all, I got 99...
