Booking Apps

23 posts in this topic

Really curious here what everyone thinks about these booking apps that some YLs are using.  I have reached out to a couple of providers and have been directed to their booking apps.  Date and time desired, sure no problem.  Get to the name part and that is where I leave it.  First name ok, first and last, ummm no.  Or is this where we just enter John Smith?  Yes I get the providers need for safety but now we are leaving another electronic trail with RW info.  So I am curious about what others here think.

So I took my phone number down, and set up my booking app. While business slowed down, all but one of the guys that actually went through my screening have been great. Some provider told me I need to put up my phone number so I did, and all I have gotten is one timewaster after another, hagglers, 2AM phone calls when it is clear I never work that time, etc.

To me, if guys are really that serious about seeing us, they will go through the protocol. The ladies that invest the time to set this up and check you out want to provide an experience, get to know you, connect. The girls that bring clients in and out just want your money. Even if you just call thinking you are going to hide, most providers will want a reference, see your history of reviews, etc. before seeing you because us getting beat, raped, or worse is quickly becoming a reality with the changes.

You want to be "John Smith", that is fine, just understand you get what you put in. Us ladies are just trying to survive.

xoxo,

Samantha Sheppard

Interesting that the app helped the client follow through for you.  My concern is strictly related to the security of the app.  As for screening I am willing to be fairly open with a provider including my name.  Of course all the apps have the blurb about offshore hosting and secure but I am reluctant to know that my info is now stored by an unaccountable third party.

I agree with this. I would not enter my real world info on an escort booking app. I will give a provider that info over the phone, no problem.

So this is why my website Booking is not getting fully filled out?

I just want the simple

First name

Age

Length of ENCOUNTER

Time of ENCOUNTER

Reference

I don't care if they enter it here, my website, or email.

SultryKitten

You are correct when I put my number up I get a lot of weird calls. It's annoying. Tob is open to the public.

I as a  provider appreciate your thoughts beenheredoingthis) for we will be able to help each other on both sides to ensure a safe encounter...

I think it depends on the app. I took my Google one down because I felt it wasn't secure. Have a better one. I do have clients that email info as well.

You do what feels better for you, and I understand that thinking. It sounded, to me, like you were concerned about ladies knowing your personal info.

I like my contact form on my website.

If you "the potential client " do not want to complete it, that tells me that your inquiry is not serious.

It's simple and a way for you to fill in your request and ask about what you are looking for. Calls and text messages that I receive from gents that I have not met usually lead to nothing.

My auto response to text directs every text to my website.

I hope that the inquiring gent will read it! And know what they are getting into.

Most just do not read it or even visit the link.

This is the norm now for weeding out the weeds.

If gentleman would contact with there:

Name

Phone number

Email

Provider references

Date and time inquiring about.

You can pass screening that way also.

It comes down to come correct it you won't cum at all.

Not so much concerned about YL knowing my RWI as I am about an online paper trail connecting my RWI with ‘the hobby’. Two different issues.

Bit when you contact a lady you come with the information needed to meet.

I understand about personal information on a 3rd party site/app

Ladies have had to come up with new ways to ask for information.

Not to mention that a lot of gentlemen have no references and are new to the hobby.

I do a full background check and yes this requires a lot of personal information.

I will be talking over the phone for this and will be calling the inquiring gent back with my conclusion.

What is the catcher is that cost us ladies money.

More often than not I pass on the meeting.

Hit it in One BitBanger.

It is not about not wanting to share info with a provider that she would like so she feels comfortable.  It is strictly the app that makes me nervous and the addition of another layer of risk.  My habit is to make an initial attempt of introduction via TOB PM.  In the very first sentence I introduce myself by name, yes real name.  It is strictly the apps that give me bad vibes as that is an additional party that has private info.  The reason for this thread was to get other views on the apps to see if I was the only person with this phobia.

Yeah...I probably would'nt do it either. Just keep in mind this is a business of PLEASURE. If a protocol makes you uncomfortable, that is the opposite of the whole point. Just move on to someone else who does not have it. It's not like you don't have lots of choices. Same goes for the ladies. While one protocol\rule what have you, might cost them some clients, it will be ok with plenty of others and it makes them more comfortable.

I think we might have a failure to communicate. I believe that the ladies are thinking: "Wow, what a 21st century way to made dates! It's so quick and efficient, helps both of us"

Whereas, some of us guys think, "Fuck, this is like buying an airline ticket, no thanks."

Personally, I hate everything that makes an encounter more like a commercial transaction and less like a date. I don't ever discuss money, I put it down quick and quiet, and expect a kiss, you get the idea, I like a GFE, and you don't book a date with a girlfriend on a website. Instead you make a date by calling up or (as a concession to our times and my taste for youth), texting with a nice introduction and a respectful request for a date.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't have a booking site, but I am saying that you might want to remain open to old-fashioned methods, some of the old fashioned gentlemen might be exactly who you want to meet.

Every web site in the world is 100% safe and secure right up to the point it gets breached.

Are cops allowed to set up a booking app? If you set one up, can you give or sell the info you accumulate?

Not worth the risk for me

Doesn’t matter. My TOB is not linked to my RWI.

I review this as any other profession.  When looking for a doctor, if it takes me more than three "push 1 for" I hang up and call the next doctor.

I always laugh a little when people ask if cops are allowed to do xyz. Cops do what they want. Period.
