Danielle,

Can't a cop send you a picture of their license just as well as someone not a cop?  I am struggling with verification/law enforcement as most of my gentlemen friends are older, recently divorced/widowed, 99% are married and first time being a hobbyist.  It is damn hard to get a married professional to give out any type of information.  Let alone create an account.  Just curious as to how you handle.

Yes, of course, he could.  And as mentioned in another thread, there are actually cops that are looking for a legit appointment and not trying to bust anyone.  My advice is to utilize realistic logic in your screening to avoid getting overly paranoid.  Common sense is my #1 screening tool and it has worked flawlessly for me for nearly a decade.  Feel free to PM me or shoot me an email if you have specific questions.  xoxo

Screening has always been a touchy subject for both provider and hobbyist . And I agree with Daniel Ray taking a complete strangers word as a reference can be a crapshoot. I think one of the best references you gentlemen could have is to have a name onthese forums .If you're contacting a lady who frequents a place like ToB, then why notuse your board game? I am amazed at how many gentleman do not want to give out their boardidentity to us . It is a great screening tool. That is unless you're a troll. And in that case you have every reason to want to hide.  All I am looking for in a screening is I want to know you're not a cop. I don't care if you're married. I don't care if you have a girlfriend. I just want to know that you are not a vice cop. And that you are safe. So it is up to you guys to make us feel comfortable enough to play with you. So when you call one of us - be prepared to identify yourself some how.🍀

The ONLY way a client should provide his P411 ID to anyone is through their system, either via PM or an Appointment/Pre-screening Request.  On P411 client IDs are different from provider IDs, both in format & in privileges. Provider IDs were designed to be public, allowing general clients limited access to a provider’s profile. (As I understand it, this access has recently become even more limited.). Client IDs were designed to remain private, their profiles only available to provider members, and verifiable when in person.

Gentlemen, do NOT share your P411 ID, except by using the tools provided by P411.

To bad there isn’t away to check to see if a user has been around sense 1/12/2012 & has like maybe 8 good reviews that shows credibility....

Back in the Oyster days, the advertising staff had a pair of complaints of a similar story, except that Polaroids were exchanged by snail mail between po boxes.  (yes, am that old ).   She was confronted ,when she came in to pay her ad. By her body language and tone of voice etc,we chose to believe the men. She was banned.

Can easily see that this gents story could be true. Only a newbie would fall for the type of screening he did. Would any of you have been around 6 years and made 8 reviews fall for this alleged shit ? Rather doubt it.

Scams happen, suggest this get looked into. Even if it takes doing what he did, using a pro porn stars pictures. ( men are props that don't get much face screen time )  .

Seems like a general rule of thumb that needs to be spelled out somewhere.

It makes their profiles suspect.. and their "reviews'.

It is a good idea to make everyone login and send messages through the website it someone gives me a message through regular email or text/phone with their info? I just explain to them to send me a message through the website. If they question me further? I will explain It is not a good idea to be so casual with your accountant info.

I recently contacted a lady from AS, she started asking for screening info. I told her I'd PM her from this account and answer most of what she wanted. She asked for face and D pic. I hesitated, but eventually sent the requested pics.

Now for the fucked up part, with all my screening info she was able to find me on Facebook, LinkedIn, company.[not linked phone number] she sent pics of my SO, family, work and then sent me screen shots of our conversation and demanded $1000.  I agreed to pay, she then upped it to $3000. I paid the ransom and it has went away. (Been a month)

Be careful guys. I'll still see new girls, but won't be jumping through screening hoops for new ladies.

Wow this is truly fucked up and sorry it happened. Shows how much we all have be careful.

Jez, I am always happy to give out my TOB handle and offer to PM from here to make a lady feel more comfortable when introducing myself to her for the first time.  I think it makes things easier for both parties.

Damn,  I thought I had my only (very) bad experience from an ad on AS. But it was'nt near as bad as yours.

I guess I can't review her or give her a bad grade since it was from AS.  Is there a rule against posting a "Do not call"  thread with a link to the thiefs' AD or post their phone # ?

You can submit a review; you’ll have to create the account & link to website.

You can usually find out the Personal identification of a person pretty easy. All you need is the number.

To any Newbies (men/women) I cannot stress enough to please make sure your choice is reviewed and that woman are taking a few extra steps (30seconds -24hours Depending on your process) To ensure their safety. I’m sure many girls have websites that have etiquette and frequently asked questions sections; read them, reach out for help, know the laws and your rights.

Next time just dump your phone in the trash. Say it was stolen. And pay the $200 with your insurance.  Tougher to do in a state of panic.  It’s absolutely horrible.

Good lesson to us all. Do our homework. And bring your teacher lots of gifts, Apples Get to be boring. Better luck next time

I have just started this myself either message on here or when text/call let them know I am on here, where the yl I did contact via text had me message her on here to verify that I actually was and it definitely has helped make things more simple

I am so sorry to hear about your situation. That is crazy, seriously. Screening is something that every provider should do within reason. Also as a hobbyist you should only provide as much information about yourself that you honestly feel comfortable with. Why she would want your social media information is weird. Most people unless they are pro athletes or celebrity of some sort will not post about their employment. Especially if you have your family or close friends tagged or in a image. I hope that you if she is a provider on TOB reached out to the moderators or directly to the Whisper. Because the staff here on TOB generally respond within 24hrs and have a solution or steps to achieve a solution to remedy situations like this.

Troll be gone!

But, indulging this fool for a minute: Why anyone would send a copy of their ID to some random stranger is completely beyond me.

As for the pic, send her one that is already online, so if she wants to blackmail you, just shrug your shoulders and say, yeah, ok, bitch you found a pic of me online, so?

Push comes to shove, tell her you're going to lawyer up faster than Harvey Weinstein, and, no, Gloria Allred is probably not gonna take your case. ;)

These stories reinforce my fly lie under the radar which isn’t efficient but sort of safe. The stories about the lengths LE goes to bust folk is discouraging as far as applying resources to our justice system.

I don’t know if the story that started this thread is accurate but is a sober reminder that there are predators out there hunting clients and providers alike. Also reinforces my general paranoia.

Since the discussion has veered into one of the board's "Everlasting Gobstoppers" of topics (screening,) I'd like to ask for some input.

I've been pretty inactive for the past two years-ish for various reasons. In that interim, I accidentally let my P411 account expire. As many know, they're not currently renewing or accepting new users due to all the recent laws enacted. Bummer.

Also, over the past couple of years, all of the small number of the folks I visited regularly have retired. (Yes, this makes me very sad.) They were well-reviewed, well-known and respected ladies. So on the occasions when I did wander away from the Circle,* their references seemed to be well-received. Lastly, the cell number I used went away. So, six years after launching into this adventure, I'm almost back to newbie status. (If i could reverse my chronological age like that, it'd be an awesome trade-off....)

Has using ToB become more of a tool lately with the changes and P411's reduced availability? It seems to have always been a way for some people to make connections and conduct screening of a sort. If so, how do most folks use it nowadays? (Sounds like provider-to-provider references aren't what they used to be.) I'm reluctant to provide any personally identifiable information and don't connect with providers who chose that method. (which is totally their prerogative.)This recent window of opportunity to reconnect with the Hobby might be shortlived, but if not, I'd like get a feel for the latest screening landscape and how ToB relates.

* remember the "Circle of Trust" from Meet the Fokkers? ....esoteric reference.

So what's your proposal for a completely new guy that doesn't have references, p411, TOB, can't see in the reviews who is newbie friendly (and even the newbie friendly ask for info)?

I do deposit because I am newbie friendly. I use 2 do license. But I swear I had a fake one sent to me. Like I didn't know he pulled it off the internet.

It seems to work.

What police is sending a deposit

Via PayPal? Or cashapp?

When that fails I will not be newbie friendly anymore.

Why didn't you just tell her your wife is the one that chose her profile  for you and gives you the funds to hobby in the first place so her bullshits not going to work??

Come on you guys stop thinking with the little head!

Your dick pictures and face pictures have zero to do with escort screening

let me repeat your dick pictures and face pictures have zero to do with escort screening

Is that a thing?  Do you ladies really get dick pics on a regular basis???   Seems like a goofy tactic for a guy to send a shot of his junk to you in hopes of swaying your interest.

Maybe I just don't hold mine own in high enough esteem.  I do know that a shot of a provider's pieces parts can definitely peak my interest.....

hmmmmm - I'm genuinely curious.  Maybe I should build a portfolio....
