Posted June 7, 2018 We have some good seafood restaurants here in Denver and the surrounding area. I don't know of an all you can eat restaurant though. When I was a youth, there was a place in the Chicago suburbs that hung the shipping invoices at the entrance to show you which fish was just off the jumbo jet that morning from the coasts, Gulf. Not a buffet, but along the lines of good seafood, Whole Foods has some really nice fish. Sure, more $$ than Soopers, but the quality is head and shoulders better and worth the extra bucks every now and then. Vegas has taken it to another level. Wynn/Encore and MGM/Mirage hotels have their own fish tanks, and marine biologists on staff to make sure no illnesses, salinity/temperature of water is correct, etc. That seafood you get at those hotels, some of it was pulled from the tank that day (lobsters, crab are the big ones, but the article I saw a few years back also mentioned they do keep some live fish around).
