Posted May 15, 2018 (edited) Now that the review embargo has lifted,here are my observations about Exxotica 2018. This was the second year that this traveling circus has come to Denver and it was as much fun as it was last year. The usual cast of vendors were in attendance selling their wares ,unlike last year it was all national companies and no local ones. Only one local strip club ,Platinum 84 , was in attendance, but they are part of the national Scores chain. This lack of local businesses participating is very rare for Exxxotica and hopefully next time around they will wake up to the crowds that pack it and take advantage of the exposure like other cities have. The big draw of course,are the porn stars. Lots of lovey ladies were in attendance signing autographs ,selling DVDs and posing for pictures for a price. Being a veteran reporter of many such expos,I knew that the performers were at their booths in shifts and thanks to my wheelchair pusher,Melissa Sterling, we circled the autograph area many times to photograph as many as possible. The longest lines were for the personable ones new to the scene and the legends such as Katie Morgan ,Lisa Ann and Tera Patrick . Biggest surprise was the new look that Adriana Chechik had. Gone were the long dark tresses,replaced with a short blonde hairdo. So big was the change that I simply did not recognize her until she spoke. Still the hottie, it was a pure joy getting a lap dance from her. (to say the least ). In addition to the porn stars,there were many girls working their live cam shows on the floor. Ranging from hot to not ,they obviously tamed down their public shows from their usual internet performances.Still, I took notes on the very few to check out on line later. They had several dance contests on the main stage and we enjoyed them,but it would have been better if all our area clubs were represented. In addition to the girls,we checked out the wares. Melissa loved the booths promoting swinger cruises and I was disappointed that the only bondage item I wanted to buy was not for sale !!! It was a huge red and black wheel that one spun a person on !! (perfect for the living room ) . Most of the booths sold the usual,and in some cases,unusual sex toys. As well as sexy candy and lotions. Being thankful for her assistance, I bought Melissa a couple of items of her choice. Of course , we did not turn down any of the press goodie bags with free erotic samples in them. As we left, we ran into two TOB ladies and I would like to give a shout out to Rhiannon and Jessica for the nice chats we had about the expo ,the industry and life. Also big thanks to the Exxxotica promoters for giving Melissa a press pass . I only had one lined up for myself, unlike last year,they gave a second one for her to help me get around. That said,already looking forward to next year. Guessing its probably a TOB no-no to post a link to the sites where my pictures and other reviews are. PM me if you want to see them. Posted May 18, 2018 Jr it has been a while. After so many yrs who would've thought I'd still be hanging around in the industry and we would still run into each other from time to time. Ha I think it's great and so glad to see you still doing your thing. thankful that I have made my way through the business 16 yrs and still going. It was you my friend who helped me break into it I'll never forget.
