Blankets, shower/bath, and clients! They are great heat generators. 😁

Cold is when the thermometer on the bank sign shows -30!

Even then "It's a dry cold"

Sorry sweetie but you picked the worst month to visit. April is the worst month for Colorado weather IMO. Too many temperature swings and usually a lot of snow. Might not be much snow this year. Wind also is the worst in April it seems like.

Yes. Something similar to the saying about March applies to April in Colorado...." April...comes in like a lion...goes out like a really pissed off lion."

March is our snowiest month followed by April. Temperatures here in Denver can be in the 60's in January or in the 20's/30's in March and April.

Our weather here is sorta dysfunctional...just like the rest of of us.  LOL

But we wouldn't trade being in Denver for any other place.

Some days you get 3-4 seasons in 24 hours. Especially in spring and fall. If that's not good enough, drive 20 miles and you'll get another climate all together. Colorado is awesome!

Cold was Ontario in February. I think sweat froze to the top of my ass crack the entire time I was there. But man, Canada keeps her roads clean. Anyways, I learned a new respect for “it’s fucking cold outside”

I’m not sure if it would matter. 9 below the whole week sucked. And why doesn’t anyone have a fucking map in Burlington?

Oh no our roads are straight.

Ok. Where do I find something to eat?

Right there.

I can’t eat oysters every day.

Oh yeah keep driving straight.

Where do you live?

Hamilton

Does anyone live in Burlington?

(Crickets)

Shit. Thanks.

Later I found the Canadian imitation of an Applebee’s ... I got into an argument with a local about bass fishing. I didn’t think it was an argument. He thought otherwise. We rolled around outside in the frosty crust. He won, cause I can’t wrestle.

“Yeah! We have bass here.” Snot was whipping off his nose like an octopus tentacle. Just let it land in the snow, please.

The quickest way to keep his anatomy off of me was to buy him a beer.

“Let me buy you an IPA. Oh and what the fuck just happened?”

You bought me a beer.

Cool. I hate IPA’s btw. Wipe your nose off

We hugged and then we were good friends afterward, until ...

“Why do you fuckin’ Canucks wear those over priced bomber jackets with goose patches on them?”

You’re gonna buy me that beer right?

Yeah.

Cold?  This has been the mildest winter in recent memory if you ask me.  I guess everything is relative but it has barely snowed at all this winter and I don't remember it once breaking into single digits.

That said even when it does snow and gets cold you don't have to wait long until things climb into the 60s with lots of sun.  That's why I love it here, you never have to wait too long for a beautiful day to brighten up your mood.

Nina you'll love it soon. The summer sun warms your skin up so quick because of how high we are in elevation and the air smells wonderful and light with the scent of wild flowers. We don't have to worry about the excessive humidity and stickiness here, just those afternoon light rains that occur mid to end summer. 😍 The nostalgia, can't wait!

And the sun...Glistening off the six inches of golf ball sized hail 2-3 times a year...transforming even the most expensive and pristine auto surface into a moonscape of craters.
