Posted April 6, 2018 I dont know much about whats going on but something in the air, rumors, comments from a few friends about how "slow" its been etc.. Make me wonder. I almost feel kind of worrried, what will i do in the future when i feel the need for companionship? My desires arent just gonna go away, and this has been such a positive resource as im sure many sites that have gone away. You cant stop mature adults from connecting this is ridiculous......and why would anyone want to? Take away convenient sites like this one where you can cross reference for safety purposes and we arent just going to suddenly be celibate cmon, whats going to happen is we will be forced to find other risky avenues to link up. Posted April 6, 2018 I don't know why sites are shutting down. FOSTA/SESTA isn't even in effect yet, and as long as you are paying your taxes and not allowing underage girls to advertise...you "should" be ok. Backpage wasn't screening anyone so it is their fault they got shut down. It doesn't surprise me...threw me for a loop, yes, but didn't surprise me. Honestly, it doesn't surprise me that TER did what they did...they weren't screening the reviews and who advertised as well so they are trying to save their ass. We will see what happens. It's a strange thing - this sport that occupies so much of my budget, time and mind is something I cannot talk about to anyone in my other life, not anyone. For nearly a decade now, you all have listened and responded when something just needs to be said, wondered about, or cried about. I have actually met so many wonderful ladies from here, but I am acquainted with so many more, and even a few guys, that I think of (in kind of a sad way, actually) as my friends. Saint Joanie, who has been my muse, my crush, and my constant companion since high school knows all about it: Very well said. This group of people here are a very genuine and down to Earth bunch and I count myself very lucky to have known a lot of them on a personal level and even more lucky to have people I've yet to meet wishing me their best.
