While I agree with the general sentiment of the post, it is also a minor peeve of mine: the provider calendar on their websites. They tend to not be updated in a regular or timely fashion. But bigger issue, is the calendar that is on a page and never updated. It seems, to me, that it's best to remove these calendars and put up a page or section for "Travel Dates" or "I will be taking some time off on x/y through xx/yy and unavailable for appointments" type of thing. Turn off the phone when not taking calls and or appointments (hopefully the slower guys will pick-up on the fact that lady is not available).

But, yeah, an ASP says taking a day off, don't get pissy with her about her calendar not being up-to-date for that very minute of the day. Just let it go and move on to the next lady on one's list.

I keep mine as up to date as possible and change things when I know that things change. But when I woke up on the day I'm speaking of,  I just DIDNT want to see anyone. And I was like I'll wait until after my workout and breakfast maybe I'll feel better but by the time I got to my phone after the gym it was flooded in messages and I still felt shitty. So, I didnt want to keep saying I was available if I didnt want to see anyone because well... You know.

Everyone needs some downtime sweetheart. It takes a lot of physical, mental, and emotional energy to have great sessions. If you don't have it to give that day, it's a no brainer...better to take the day off, and recharge, than to have so-so sessions. Those aren't fun for anyone.  Personal days are necessary. Enjoy yours. 💋

It feels great outside!  I often disconnect and live life and you don’t owe anyone an explanation.

Take care of yourself beautiful lady!

This! ^^^^ If people are rude to you, after you tell them you're not available, you made the right choice, not to see them! :)

I did the same thing this weekend. I just felt that this last week I wasn't at my best and so I recharged by taking the weekend off. When you provide a service, a good number don't realize that we don't work 24/7 365 days in a year. Take your breaks or you will burn out. That is how we stay our best. Turn off the phone and do your thing.

Xoxo,

Samantha Sheppard

Aren't flexible hours part of the attraction of the work?  And on line calendars don't always sync so I would have assumed someone called you before I got a chance.  You have a right to be pissed.

I need to take care of myself too

If you don't, my experience is that no one else is likely to on a sustained basis.

I need to work thecalendar on my website. I just have not taken the time to do that. Life is busy! Taking a breather once in a while is important for us all.💗 Have a great day Amber!!

Maybe it would be easier to create a text message template response for inquiries you receive via text on days where you are taking the day off?  Something you can shoot back to them immediately that says "Thanks for contacting me but I am taking today off but would love to chat with you soon about setting an appointment".  One of my biggest pet peeves is sending out an inquiry to one provider then not hearing back from them for long enough that I then reach out to a different provider.  Then I finally hear back 8 hours later when I have either made plans with another provider or given up on lobbying that day and made personal plans that don't involve a provider.

I don't know about other providers but I have another job and go to school so I don't carry my business phone with me all the time or that's what I'd do. That's why I keep my calendar as up to date as I can.

And I understand that also, everyone has to try to be patient with one another I suppose in this arena.

This^^^^   For many one-person small businesses (not just escorts), responding to everyone quickly can be impossible.

I occasionally call in sick for mental day as well.   I don't think your expectations are out of line, the other persons were.

We are all human. They can always schedule another day.
