Yep, the law is cracking down. Regional sites like this will be next.

I don't like BP's recent changes, but this one could make it easier for us shoppers. If there's just a phone #, then the ad is expired. That doesn't necessarily mean the provider isn't available, but it does mean the ad is old.

You are missing the point entirely.  Existing ads can stay up under old format, but once they expire for the renewed and new ads the only thing they are allowing is phone number, pics, and social media link.  Soon ALL the ads on BP will be new format ..... unless changes again.

If that's the case then, yes, I missed the point. I've rarely used BP except as a starting point to "window shop" and with this new "feature" I will gladly drop them altogether..

As always for years, use the tool that works best for you.  The end of the hobby was nigh when Bears Board, Sowet, Craigslist, etc. all went down.  Media come and media go, someday whole thing will be legal (please!!!) but no matter what ladies will offer services and guys will find them.  I personally found BP extremely useful, but it is getting less and less and more and more a pain for the ladies. Some other option will pop up.

I vote twitter, facebook, goolge+, insta or snap. Though I think only two of those can be refined to a decent locality.

All of whom will tirelessly and with a vengeance mine all your information and link everything you have every done under any name anywhere to the maximum extent they possibly can and will eventually - presto - out you to every friend/family/associate/co-worker you have ever friended. Nice.  Yes, there are ways around but it gets exhausting and they are very good and tireless.

Beyond that it is all fine and well and I understand the main generation of ladies is all in with the social media. And I can easily find the SM site of any lady I have already "found" via actual advertising sites.  BUT how the hell are you supposed to find the SM site of an escort you do not know exists? The execs at BP brought a lot of shit on themselves and I do not feel a bit sorry for them.  But SOME ad site is a necessity.  The most bothersome thing about the new format is a gold mine for LE.  Under old format, you had to call/text/email etc. in response to their ad.  Now the ad will direct you to their SM site and they have already compiled you onto a list of potential johns BEFORE you even call/text etc.  THAT is what sucks about where this whole thing is going.  Or tell me, local computer geeks more savvy than I - am I missing something?

I have a list of wonderful ladies I like, and a P411 account.

I care not about backpage or other sites

Only thing missing is a new LE focus on different sites, since BP won't net the easy bust any more.

You do, more than you realize. Girls rarely start off on P411. They're guided there. They start off some place else. I dig p411. I'm a fan. Nothing against it at all. But it ain't as known as places like BP. Lots of girls on P411 use BP too. It reaches more clients. Keeps them in business. It's gonna hurt the whole hobby.

Well, what I am saying is that it makes busts MUCH easier because they half gotcha before you even decide to call, and there are no more text clues to indicate "maybe" or "run!"

What I failed to say earlier is that yes, there needs to be an ad place, and for Colorado that place is obviously TOB.  Other locations eventually - if that is what owners want, best of luck to them.  But that would bring a lot more attention of the undesirable kind.

This is a great reason to have a website ladies. Since we can't really post squat we can only hope that serious potential clients do a little search. And when they search hopefully what they see first is your website so they can learn all they need to know.

I'm seeing more "informational pictures" in the future.  I've already found a few.

I already use Twitter to advertise anyway, so for me the requirement to post a social media link is not inconvenient at all.  I welcome the extra Twitter traffic from anyone who clicks.  Twitter is a better representation of my brand than a BP ad anyway.

I personally used a graphic design program to add text to photos with the critical pieces of information.  It seems to be working so far... :)

Since I got my old address booted(they told me that old ads as of November 15th), I have grudgingly put it on and haven't got a single client on BP. My pics clearly state how to contact me and not one of them read nor listen. The worst part about it, they think we are auctions now and quote ridiculous low prices  when my website (that is in bold)states what they are if they would just read.

It has made things worse, to me, and I am really leaning towards dropping it and focusing on the adult sites.

Remember guys, BP was not originally an adult site and of course will get more flack than BP. Adult sites you have to be specifically searching for. Of course will still be on these sites and hitting them, but there biggest focus is the stuff that tends to be more public, keeping numbers down, and meeting quotas.

Xoxo

I hate it too but roughly 60% of all new business generates from my BP listings. Is there another national advertising platform (used coast to coast) with simular exposure?

I use BP on occasion if traffic here is slow. At this point I just text them my website when they reach out for detailed info and have them fill out the booking form. I also have a twitter account for here so I use it, I enjoy the twitter traffic <3
