I am in utter shock and my faith in mankind has been utterly destroyed.  To think that some guy is hustling woman trying to get sex for free while the rest of us 99%'s have to pay for it! There oughta be a law! The next thing you know, we won't be able to trust any politicians, celebrities, newspeople, radio talk shows, corporate heads and, worst of all, the escort ads on BP! What's this world coming to?

You obviously forgot the whole "grab em by the pussy" from BLOTUS. The biggest hypocrites are those who mention Hillary when predator in chief admitted it out loud.

Am I shocked that a man with a lot of power abused it? Fuck no just disgusted.

Before we continue with your sentence....the key word is hypocrite.....Bill has as long a record as Harvey...and never went to jail or to a "rehab hospital."  Where Mrs  Weinstein has filed for separation and divorce....Mrs Clinton has not. That was the point of Mr Pinks post.

I am neither a democrat or a republican, but agree with the news reporters that are pointing out that Hollywood has been quite judgmental while looking the other way on one of their own.

Sure hope the awards shows and late night comedians will start entertaining again, instead of being so hypocritical.

can you provide proof that he was/is a sexual deviant ala cosby/clinton/weinstein?  the worst you can say is he's guilty of locker room talk.

LOLOLOLOL, that's funny. If you have such a problem with Bill's sexual indiscretions why are you bringing up his wife? Misogyny maybe? Hillary has zero to with  Harvey Wenstein being a serial predator. Meanwhile the man who was elected was caught on tape admitting he's an abuser it's cool though. Locker room talk is apologist talk.

You are deflecting and obviously not watching this unfold.  That said, why are you ok with Bill Clintons proven  indiscretions and uptight about locker room talk ?     As for Hillary, do you really support a politician that wanted your source of income taken away ??   ( that would be confusing )

Show Bill's record? Hillary has zero to do with this situation but you too try hard to make it about a woman when it's about a man who is a serial predator. You made up a point for Mr. Pink. That wasn't his point. Bunch of you around here are serial cheaters I guess it's all the fault of your wives and we should talk about that instead. It also seems you're conflating abuse with cheating.

Hypocritical is using the abusiveness of a man to point fingers at a woman. Attacking Hillary for Weinstein's problems was a Fox News talking point.

Who has anything to say about this?? Nothing? The late night comedians and the news aren't hypocrites. And funny when people want to list predators they leave off names Roger Ailes or Bill O'Reilly. Now that's some hypocritical shit. If immoral behavior is such a problem for you then why no go after all those that are creeps?

I never said I was OK with Bill's issues. What I said is that Hillary has nothing to do Weinstein and to bring it up is ludicrous. What politician doesn't want my source of income taken away? Why are you so concerned about the policy of the woman who lost? That's confusing, especially since you seem to like to play the blame game. If you're so concerned about men's records why not start with the man in the oval office? The man whose divorce records are sealed because he abused his ex wife. The pussy grabber, the Ivanka lover, the man who cruised dressing rooms at pageants, the man who has been accused time and time again. The man who openly admitted it?

I'd honestly rather not have made this a conversation about politics. The Weinstein thing is a big deal and a opportunity to talk about the nasty things that women face in their lives but instead some not very accomplished troll wanted to make it about Hillary. To me that's repulsive, it says to me that some people care more about smearing a woman they don't know than actually caring about the situation and all the real victims it created. We have powerful men taking advantage every single day but let's single out a woman whose husband cheated on her.

But if you really want to examine why a woman stays with a man who cheats or abuses then let's do that. We live in a society that adds value to a woman based on who she is married to. Hillary's 40+ year career has always been overshadowed and she always just been Bill's wife who should answer for his mistakes. Making a woman suffer for her husband's mistakes just perpetuates systematic oppression of women.

I was totally on board with you Lucy until this afternoon when Hillary opened her big mouth and in one small interview attacked Weinstein, compared him to Trump, and unbelievably went on to defend Billie Bob when the interviewer understandably said "What about Bill?"  Of course BiC1 (Buffoon in Chief) has to chime in with "I know him and am not surprised."

I wish ALL the fucking politicians - the Buffoon in Chief, the wannabe Bitch in Chief, and all the rest would just STFU and perhaps consider for a change doing their jobs - protecting and improving this country for ALL of its residents.  Yeah, dream on.

What Weinstein is accused of (innocent till proven guilty) is totally unacceptable, inexcusable under ANY standard, perverse and disgusting.  What is even more disturbing is that, like the Cosby thing, dozens if not hundreds of Hollywood spoiled elitists that make speeches against similar things KNEW FOR YEARS this shit was going on and said nothing.  Money talks and bullshit walks.

After reading thru this train-wreck of a thread, I was so depressed that I cracked open my bible.

And there....in the wise words of David the Psalmist....was the only answer to this clusterhump:

Psalm 146:3.    New Living Translation
"Don't put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there."

....and that's all anybody should be saying about this.

I guess I’d ask what exactly would you like for her to say in regards to Bill? And also, why is it her responsibility to answer for his transgressions? I get she went after Gennifer Flowers, and that’s actually still questionable as to her full involvement with that, but what would you have her do?

Are you serious? If she is going to call out Weinstein and Trump (they SHOULD BE called out!!) then DON'T defend Bill for doing the exact same thing and pretend it is not simply politics and is some sincerely held value or belief. Or on this topic just please sit down and shut the fuck up because it comes across as hollow, major bullshit. Clear?

Good grief, you must be one of those that still whine over Clinton conceding. (almost a year ago ).  Go back and reread my post where i stated that I am not a democrat or a republican. To take it even further,I didn't vote for Clinton or Trump. You made it about politics when you brought up Trump when this thread is about Weinstein. I watched 20/20 last night and saw a parade of ladies testify against Weinstein. Call me cynical, but as was proven in other scandals,a few of these women probably "came forward " for the publicity. That said, the majority were obviously telling the truth.

Obviously you did not hear all the tapes that have been played of Weinstein in action, there are connections to others Be interesting to see how this all shakes out. Sadly, saw a recent interview with him where he isn't taking this seriously, not even trying to deny what he has done.No remorse whatsoever and that is sad that he dismisses this particular scandal as something trivial. From Fatty Arbuckle on ,this has been going on in that industry.

Both the democrats and the republicans have had their fair share of scandals, and don't get me started on evangelists !

This is the newest.

You are really trying to make something out of an obvious photo op at an obvious charity event ? (look closer at the picture )  Now thats hysterical.  Photo ops at events are a dime a dozen, especially in Hollywood.

Weinstein,a die hard democrat, did not contribute to Trumps campaign.

Nope I brought it up because the OP tried to use this as chance to bash Hillary. Good grief don't you have any reading comprehension? My point was if you dudes are so offended by Hilary and what her husband did why are you not offended by predator in chief? The only people still crying are the people that wanted to see her lose. Sore winners like I have never seen. Why are people so concerned about the woman lost while our President is actually guilty of a multitude of offenses?

Obviously I did hear the tapes because I have been following the story. I will call you cynical and maybe a little tone deaf and misogynistic. Because you obviously miss this point to continue to be condescending. No comes forward about sexual assault for the fame, that kind of revelation ruins careers and more often than not isn't believed.

Hillary had nothing to do with what Weinstein did but you guys insisted and why if Hillary's name gets dragged into this why not Trump? He obviously knows him, so why was there no calling him a hypocrite especially since he himself admitted assault. It's this men protecting men at the expense of women.

For someone who claims to not be a republican you have a lot of common GOP talking points.

That doesn't answer the question what would you like her to do? No matter what she does people will hate her. Case in point this thread, the dislike of her runs rampant. People dislike her so much they can't even think about other people that really deserve the hatred.

'locker room talk'.  Bragging about sexual assault, more accurately.

If you're referring to Fatty Arbuckle you should know the details before spitting out silly little one liners. Before Fatty studios made all the money and actors and actresses often didn't even get their names on the bill he changed all that to be the first and the highest paid actor on screen. Fatty was rich, asexual and immoral. No one blew the false rape whistle, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and the rumors circulated and the censors and the studios saw their opportunity. That was a true Hollywood Scandal and more to do with the times than anything else. There was lots of censorship going on, the government was trying to push back on movies and the general public wanted their stars to be squeaky clean and decent people and in their eyes Fatty was none of those things.

The evidence was clearly in Fatty's favor but yet it was the people that called for his guilt. Sounds familiar, like that has happened before or many times really throughout the course of history. Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle and Harvey Weinstein only have fatness and being in Hollywood in common. The two scenarios are totally different. Kind of a shame that you would bring Fatty in this context.

I was about as clear as I possibly can be as to what I would like her to do on this topic - sexual predators in positions of authority and power.  She swept her husband's behavior under the rug and actively defended him for reasons only she knows.  She is NOT responsible for his behavior, but she is responsible for defending it while attacking others for doing it.  You can't have deep convictions and beliefs if they only apply OUTSIDE your circle of friends/family etc.  Unless she suddenly recognizes what her hubby did for what it was she has no standing on this issue.  Yes, that would have been difficult at the time and even more so now, but having deeply held beliefs and applying them uniformly isn't easy.  Stand for what you believe in or sit down and shut up.  If she truly thought being a repeat sexual predator and promoting second class status to women via sexual intimidation is horrible (I most certainly do!!) then she should have jettisoned the predator in her midst.

If you mean in general, what do I want her to do, truthfully - continue speaking out and fighting for or against only causes that she really believes in.  It is unlikely that I will agree with her on some of them, but so what - honest debate is good for all.  But nothing erks me more than people pretending to have deeply held beliefs for simple expediency or political purposes.  That is exactly how it appears when one's deeply held beliefs apply only when convenient to personal circumstance.

Lastly - hate Hillary?  I don't know her, nor do I hate her.  She deserves credit for many of her accomplishments and furthering opportunities for other women via her achievements.  Her steadfast support for equal rights - racial and gender - is admirable.  Some of the other things she does and says, not so good, and those generally come when being politically motivated and not sincere.  I know, I know ...... a sincere politician ...... what am I thinking??

What I'm shocked by is the generally low to medium quality women these guys go after - see Anthony Weiner, Tiger Woods, etc. It must really be a power thing, but, seriously, but why would anyone hit on buttaface Asia Argento (just look at her dad to see that she's not going to age well)? And Rose McGowan was/is a batshit loon - after all, she dated Marilyn Manson!

In the end, the power thing didn't do Harvey Weinstein any good. He's ruined, a Pariah.

If I had that kind of money, I'd just call some San Fernando porn agent like Mark Spiegler and say: send me 5 of your hottest girls, money is no object. I'd have them tested for STDs six ways to Sunday, so I don't end up with HIV like Charlie Sheen.

Or, put an ad out on Craigslist that says: rich guy offers $1500/night + plane ticket to L.A. + all expenses paid....and college dorm rooms are going to empty out faster than the junk food aisle at Walmart's on Black Friday. And Southwest is gonna have to put additional planes on the tarmac just to handle the crowds.

The documentary "Hot Girls Wanted" demonstrates beyond the shadow of a doubt how easy it is to pull hot girls - provided you have the cash.
