Speaking of Screening…I got a Text...

10 posts in this topic

This is a reply so as not to steal Mustangs thread “I got a text”. He and I communicated via PM and determined the text he got, was from the same Lady I received a text from. While he has not seen her, I’ve actually seen her probably 4x. I like her, actually have reviewed her here and on TER. She was affiliated until recently with an agency…Poof agency’s gone, so are her ads. So I get the texts and they are soooo 1 line. I acknowledge and ask a couple of non-qualifying questions. Response comes back 1 line. So my issue as a client, who damn well does due diligence, how do I reverse screen? Ignore the texts is my spidey sense. Any input?

As someone in the other thread said and I agree with, something along the lines of send a PM here or P411 or other site, see what happens from there.

Be like a provider: ask for copy of id, she can cover up her address. Or, john method, selfie with her holding sign with her phone number and today's date to prove who she is.

Phone numbers can be, obviously, spoofed (see: all the telemarketer calls one gets with same first six numbers as yours), and hearing the back story, would be real leery of responding and getting into something.

Fish, be very careful! Ask her to confirm it's her by asking a question only she would know. Or better yet, until you hear a voice, ignore!!

Why even go that route? I don't understand what hearing her voice would accomplish. I get if someone else maybe has her number and is seeing who might respond but what if it's actually her on the other end and he still winds up in a shitty situation?

I guess I don't get why the OP's post, or the one that started is such an issue. Ignore the text. Ignore the call. Ignore the emails. It's so easy to block numbers and emails, and people in general that it should never be an issue. If the gripe is escorts randomly contacting people when the claim is no contact info is ever kept, then that's a different issue entirely. But with this, simply ignore and keep it moving. No need to cause unnecessary headaches for yourself.

Not sure why a second thread either since same thing and same "woman".  But main issue i saw was random provider he did not know having his REAL name and contact info in original thread. I would want to know wtf myself.  hence earlier suggestion on how to contact.
