San Diego Suggestions

Hello All, I haven't had the pleasure of making it to San Diego, but I'm headed there at the end of the month.  Seeing how our community has many that travel regularly I'd love to get the inside scoop; especially vs some internet article.  I'm going to staying downtown/ Gaslamp Quarter/ Waterfront Park area.  Any must do's in that area?  Restaurants/ bars/ local one of a kind must sees?  Going out for a festival so the bulk of my time is going to be spoken for, but I always appreciate seeing a new area and having local spots to check out.  Also anything different hobby-wise I need to be aware of?  I have P411 so not worried but as this board allows for interaction and as such I think it provides the opportunity to get to know personalities/ and helps sort out decisions.  To avoid schilling, please PM me if you have any ATFs (or providers any insight) that you'd suggest I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

Old Town, Balboa Park, Mission Beach. The best Mexican food and margarita I've ever had came from a place in Old Town called the Old Town Cafe.

Sites used vary by location, I am pretty sure CA has a few of their own localized sites. You can always google it and see what pops up.

I'm in that town frequently, you have to plan way ahead for the p411 crowd as they tend to be traveling a lot. Lots of 'hi sweetie, im in orange county, can you drive up…?'

A few consistent p411 ladies, so prescreened or pre-book. I have a go to for fbsm, but she is really limited on menu.

Human plex is used but I don't have any real access on that site.

Night shift is used for northern gals traveling south, and occasionally tnaboard.com. Sugar nights is another board to check.

The food there is outstanding. Balboa park, LA Jolla and Coronado Island all fun place to sight see.

Have fun.

I'll second Lucy's Old Town Cafe recommendation. The museums in Balboa are wonderful.

I lived in La Jolla for many years, so I would have to say a day trip to La Jolla and Del Mar.  Just the drive is lovely.  I spent a great deal of my twenties at the Panakin Coffee house.  Looks like a shack, but very interesting who comes there, the other half was spent at Georges on Prospect.  The main road through the village.  Jakes in Del Mar is beach front and one of the most relaxing places.  The drive up Torry Pines to Del Mar from La Jolla is lovely.  Oh the memories this all brings back.  To be 20 again.... I do not know how I am still alive.  Enjoy your stay.

Belly Up Tavern is a great place for live music. Pacers is the best strip club. There are some really superb swing clubs there, but you have to go with a lady.  At least three porn studios I'm aware of and some of those ladies advertise their services. Food is excellent, have yet to eat at a bad restaurant.

It's been a few years since I've been to San Diego, but Old Town has many fine restaurants, including the Old Town Cafe.

You won't be that far from Tijuana either if you have time.

The whole concept of the "Los Angles Chargers" makes me puke.  Nearly as bad as the "Las Vegas Raiders."

Thank God we have the Bowlen family.

Stopped in Pacers tonight. So far I have not been offered a film part, but the night is young. Maybe I'll be a guest at one of those swing clubs before the morning.
