I have not been able to communicate with some of my customers I know down there. What I do know is their businesses are under water.

What bugs me is the folks who are under "Mandatory Evacuation" and don't leave. Then they scream for evacuation. I understand that it takes money to leave, but I'm sure that the emergency crews would rather get you out BEFORE it is an emergency.

What do you do when you have no where to go and no money to get there? Gas stations are emptied out, shelters weren't in place until disaster struck. The mandatory evacuations didn't happen until a lot of people were already screwed. Houston should have evacuated and they didn't.

Bingo a major problem for LOTS of people.  Would be in Denver too.  Gas stations are emptied out, shelters weren't in place until disaster struck. Ahh, but evacuate to where and how?  Trying to evacuate 5 to 6 million people is just not going to happen fast, nor without injuries and death.  Some things we just don't frickin' control.  So long as we collectively choose to build within feet of sea level as close to the coast as we can, disaster in inevitable. Plan a 100 year storm and you get a 500 year, the absolute gold standard in flood provision.  Trouble is this storm exceeds even the estimated 500 year storm and still cranking.

My old manager's house is completely underwater (my R.W. job). I saw the video she took of her home. I spoke to her Friday around 2pm and she was freaking out! I know Fema helped her out with the last flooding last time natural disaster hit her. This time around she thought she was prepared with flood insurance and all? Was wild to see all her ditches full of water along with only a roof top poking out of the water. In addition to all that i hear Huston area is going to continue to get more rain. So very sad when things of this nature happen.

I am so sorry to all of you who have special connections to TX.

Several retired porn stars live in Houston that I'm still in touch with on facebook. Two evacuated prior to the hurricane hit, and least three others have stated they didn't expect flooding to hit their (now under water ) neighborhood. Wishing those ladies survive and my doors in Pasadena are open to them to migrate to..

I don't disagree but they made minimal effort it seems to properly warn the people. They were told to stay in place and woke up with several feet of water in their homes. They couldn't have predicted the feet of water but the people could have been adequately warned. They were misled and weren't really given a chance.

Crossing my fingers for everyone down that way, many people I know.  I know they are a tough and resilient bunch, but this is some astounding circumstances.

I've lived in the midst of Hurricanes for 19 seasons.  I've ridden out a couple of real doozies.  No one, (that is NO ONE) knows where and how these storms are going to go. NO ONE!  Hindsight is always 100% clear, correct and 100% utterly irrelevant. Move 6.5 M people out of a metropolitan area that has major bad traffic mojo on a normal day,  on two days notice? That would have been a trick.  Then what if it doesn't develop?  It didn't blow up until right before landfall and then stalled.  Go figure.

On the local board in Texas some providers have lost everything.  Would any ladies be willing to donate time/services to send money?

If so pm me and we can have pussy proceeds to Harvey.  I'm completely serious with this and we can contact the providers directly to get the money to them.

Let's come together and make a difference for our "sisters" that lost everything.🙏

This is a fantastic idea.

For those who have never had to face a disaster and lose everything you have, you don't have an idea of the despair and sinking feeling those who have lost everything have.

Every little bit helps those in dire need.

Maybe the ladies of TOB can select a day for "Pussy Proceeds for Houston" and donate half or a full days donations for the ladies of Houston.

And gentlemen of TOB.. we can help as well. An extra $10, $20, $50 or $100 in tip donations will help the ladies as well.

We as a community need to come together.

I can not even fathom going through this. I have donated cash, and am donating goods as well. KBPI has a large truck leaving from their location on Weds, just as an FYI.

Laci, this is a wonderful idea to help our community directly. You are so thoughtful and giving. I am down with giving a portion of my donation, matching guys donations etc. Just let me know...

I have just sent a small donation to Laci for this.

I also want to state that many of us take for granted the Kindness and Caring Laci consistently demonstrates. Thank you Laci for showing us how we all should be.
