Someone needs to educate the ho on the use of a condom. if you have unsafe sex you get what you get. I agree the ho is looking for a pay day. it was her choice to not use a condom and she might have got just what she was looking for.

3) From what I read, she brought the lawsuit based on a report that Usher was infected. She has NOT demonstrated that she is infected. Nor for that matter has she demonstrated that she was exposed. 

4) If I were on the jury, she would have to prove that she had not contracted herpes prior to hooking up with Usher. I know - difficult.

1 in 6 people have herpes, every one probably  has already slept with someone with herpes, yes it's a dick move not to say anything to the other person but in all reality do people think if they tell the other person they will still have sex? probably not, even using a condom is still scary to have sex knowing they have it.

She never claimed she had herpes and the lawsuit is for emotional damage. Reading FTW.  But way to go all judgemental on her.

Hold up your hand if you've ever had a cold sore. YOU HAVE HERPES!  Granted it's Simplex I, but the symptoms are similar. A few days, a week, of discomfort - reduced with medication  

Hold up your hand if you've ever had chickenpox. You have shingles. As the commercials say, "The virus is already inside you." Of the two, I'd much rather have herpes based on the symptomatic differences.

We're carrying on as if he had injected her with plutonium. Even HIV is not the death sentence it was 30 years ago. Life altering yes, but not a death sentence.

She's asking for $10 MILLION. That sounds like $PAYDAY$ to me. If she get's to keep just $2M of that and lives frugally, she's set for life. (3% ROI = $60K/yr) Because she may have been exposed? Ka-ching, snowflake, ka-ching. She's not the only gold digger in this scenario; there's got to be a lawyer hiding in the weeds, waiting for payday.

I'd say that ~$4M hush money & medical bills he paid back in 2012 didn't work too well. ($2.7M in medical bills? That snatch must be gold plated by now.) In this 24/7 culture where media feels compelled to publish all the intimate details of an entertainers life, he should not have had any expectation that it would. 

I'm NOT trying to lay all the blame on her, but there were 2 people in that room having unprotected sex. If he had an open lesion, what were they thinking? (One reason I pay escorts instead of getting free nookie at a bar is their careful habits.)

BTW: The guy made a lane change, w/o signal, into my motor scooter. Yes, I was slightly bruised and had nightmares for a few nights. OK with it? Not really, but neither is it the end of the world.

I think you need a refresher on the herpes. Skin to skin contact, the unprotected vaginal sex was never needed because their first meeting she gave him unprotected oral.
