Posted July 8, 2017 Ok, so there is an ongoing dispute between my bf and his former business associate, who just happens to be a vindictive, oozing, infected sore from hell. A true vomitous mass of human nuclear waste whose scandalous, fraudulent and swindling business practices led to said bf parting ways with him both professionally and personally. This gave rise to him deciding to take action against ME and he posted fraudulent fake reviews on a review/ad site that apparently does NO verification as to the validity of the "reviews" it will post. I've contacted the admin via their online contact form informing them that I've NEVER seen this person AT ALL and it is just a personal UNRELATED vendetta be has decided to launch. Additionally, there is ANOTHER fake review i had also taken the same ineffective approach toward removing, and it remains there as well. This one was in retaliation to my rebuttal of his review on THIS site. He posted another review for an appt SUPPOSEDLY having taken place on a LATER date than the appt he reviewed on TOB. Now, if anyone with two brain cells to rub together reads my rebuttal, it's quite clear that the possibility of my EVER entertaining the idea of allowing him to darken my doorway again is lmfao laughable. So my question is how to get these fake reviews removed if there exists a way to do so. If not, do i have any legal recourse as far as that website is concerned? Posted July 8, 2017 If you refer to the review I found with a search, I would say attorney time. It is pretty difficult to get questionable sites (even good ones) to take down bad reviews that just say your service sucks. But this one accuses you and your boyfriend of specific felony activities. So ....... assuming they are what you say they are (fake and lies), an attorney should have no problem getting at least that one taken down. But I can't help asking if your bf's partner became a client before or after your bf became your bf? And why over a year and a half from your rebutted review was all apparently quiet? What I love (for the sarcastically challenged, hate) about the he said she said tales is that there is always a lot more to them that we never know - and probably don't want to. Clearly current photos would debunk part of the accusations in a hurry. FWIW. But as to your specific question, the shaky sites love drama and accusatory reviews, etc. cause it makes them look more legit, however their legal folks (bet they have some) will have a hard time leaving up allegations about felonies if the allegations are clearly false. And your bf's business partner should receive a call from your attorney as well - again if it is all bullshit what is said against you and bf. You have only one bad review here that you rebutted. I assumed that was the one you referred to but your rebuttal clearly indicates you saw him. I read the rest of his reviews and concluded he is a total douche. Most he checked yes for recommend but the text of reviews were "rip off" "avoid" etc. But his last review oct 2015 was you. If there was another you referred to i am missing it. How much credence to the shaky sites? None for me. Even this site when they read like this douche's reviews pretty much none either. But you dont help your case when it sounds like you contradict yourself. And only review you have since is a guy who logged one time only to submit review and not even logged in since. Your best bet to fight fake reviews and petty attacks is consistent quality service, current pics and get legit guys to post good reviews. I understand how you would have just naturally assumed that he actually had an appt with me.
