STD testing

47 posts in this topic

I'm new to the hobby and haven't seen any providers yet. I'm concerned with contracting a sexually transmitted illness. Does anyone have any feedback regarding providers being tested and how to approach the subject prior to setting an appointment? Any advice on how to verify validity of testing if told that it has taken place? I imagine that its not good for business if a provider starts getting clients sick, but I don't know how this issue is viewed. Thanks for the input!

Yes ALWAYS use a condom! Ever see the show house? Well the main character said he sees providers because they are amount some of the cleanest women because they insist on using protection. I know civilians who have had std's more often than any girls here. And yes, many of us get tested. It's our money maker so of course we get checked. The number one way to get something is to go bare, so don't do that.

You probably already have an STD. You just don't know it yet.;) Don't want an STD? Find a certified virgin. Then, again, even a virgin might have taken it in the azz already.

The perfect solution: Mrs. Palmer and her four sisters.<_<

This is something that has concerned me as well but I thought it too much of a taboo subject to discuss here.

With providers, I've never had FS without a condom and don't plan changing that ever. Heck, even hookups with ladies I've met socially have always been safe. I can't imagine anyone going BB in this field.

Exactly! A long time ago, I had a client who I was meeting for the first time say, "I'll give you $ for no condom; I'm clean, I promise." I was like, "Are you crazy?!" Needless to say, I told him to lose my number..

Similar situation happened on a porn set, when a girl showed up with no STD test paperwork. She was sent home  and was not shot. Found out from AIM Healthcare later that day she was HIV positive. She was a newbie and they sent out an alert on her to everyone. Good thing we ignored her "I'm clean, I promise."

Since escorts do not test as often as porn stars, condom with lube is a must for the safety of both. There have been tons of discussion on this subject on TOB over the years. Shouldn't be a debatable topic.

Funny thing is, providers have no problem sucking bareback on a guy's dick cheese, but then turn around and complain about STDs.;)

I should know better than to respond , but "no problem sucking bareback on a guy's dick cheese" - what kind of ladies are you visiting if that is your experience, and for god sake wash your cheesy dick before visiting any of the normal, non-addict ladies or hopefully you risk having something cut off. Wait .... now THAT would be an interesting thread - "How I made a lady whack my junk off".

Do you have any examples of providers complaining about STDs?                            ...                                I didn't think so.

Condoms don't discriminate and they also come in a rainbow of colors shapes and sizes. Lubercated or not.

Come on guys: you know better, don't take anything 2-Big says seriously, or bother to react, etc.  His posts are always for entertainment shock value, and they are always damned entertaining, but the vile misogeny is a given - frankly I think it is a pose and he really is a normal guy that assumes a shocking demeanor just to post provocative posts.  Not a troll, just an entertainer.  I actually missed 2-Big when he was gone for a few months.

It's always amusing, but not surprising, to see guys (and girls) get their panties all twisted up over this topic.

The simple fact of the matter is: 1. Having unprotected oral sex, something that the majority of providers offer, because, if they didn't, they'd be out of business, is having unsafe sex. 2. Having unprotected vaginal or anal intercourse is also having unsafe sex, and it's probably more dangerous compared to getting your shlong sucked without a cover. But 2. doesn't negate 1. In both cases you're engaging in unsafe sexual activities.

If you're still having trouble with this argument, consider the following: 1. If you jump from the 7th floor of your apartment building, you're probably going to die. 2. If you jump from the 4th floor, you'll probably survive. The conclusion probably isn't to advocate jumping off of the fourth floor. In both cases it's a bad idea.

So, please, let's stop with the bullshit and start from the premise that 1) sex is inherently an unsafe activity and that  2) what consenting adults do with each other is (mostly) their business.

Now, how you explain coming home with a "drippy dick" to your wife, now, that's whole 'nother story. Maybe you'll get away with that old "I got it from a toilet seat" story. ;)

You dont even have to see a provider- (Doctor that is) you can check on your own!  Good idea for anyone to periodically check for your health and the health of others.  Of course take your results your doctor if anything shows up.  This does NOT replace your normal visits but think it as a additional cost to play.

$270 for the full panel, $130 for gonorrhea, chlamydia.

I know of some ladies that will go to their doctors and get the results on paper, but most places due to security and privacy reasons, have you call to get the results and will only give paper results if asked. I go monthly to the STD Clinic off of Bannock Street and Speer. You will sit there for 2 hours, but it is cheap/free or you can donate which I like to do. They check everything, but Herpes which you have to ask for and the test is expensive. Also, it is not 100% unless you have a breakout because it is a disease that is affected by the nervous system and not dectectable through a blood sample. They will also educate you on anything you need to know, and they provide free condoms(they are cheap condoms though). You will get the AIDS/HIV results immediately, but the other tests are anywhere from 3-5 days. Understand that this does not cover anything that you have contracted anywhere from the last few weeks as most diseases have incubation periods. This does not include AIDS/HIV...their incubation time is different.

I suggest that you educate yourself on STDS, and the risks with sexual activity before doing this. Understand that us ladies tend to have this profession as our livelihood and try not to screw that up by being unsafe, but yes, there are ladies that break the BB rule and go uncovered. Everybody has different comfort levels, and you have to figure out your own and what it is worth to you if you choose to partake.

xoxo,

Samantha Sheppard
