Yes, that is a bucket list I will do someday. My little miracles that God gifted me with to love. Some good sex. Watching my favorite comedies. Horseback riding. Dark chocolate. Walking in the middle of the night to the stillness of Earth. Reading. Meeting different people. Eating food. Taking a hot bath or lounging in a hot tub. Jammie's. Smelling roses. Finally laying down to sleep at night. Xoxo, Samantha Sheppard Yes to all of these things. I think you nailed it! Nice job! I would add "sitting in the hot tub and watching the stars" one of my favorite things besides my wonderful dog.

Posted April 16, 2017 What makes ME happy? Well, first off, my screen name says it all!. I am a Happy camper. Not much gets me down. I have a great life, a great job, and enjoy the beautiful ladies on this board! Last Summer I had a VERY bad motorcycle accident I am nearly fully recovered. But it made me appreciate that we are here for a short while even though it seems like a long time. So you better enjoy the ride while you can because it could all end, LITERALLY, in an instant!

Posted April 18, 2017 Connections - of all kinds. Connection to music, connection to the written word, connection to people. Having connection in the company of a beautiful woman.... then the rest doesn't matter for at least a little while.
Posted April 19, 2017 Loving hands rubbing aloe on sunburned skin. Waking up in the middle of the night to find my cats snuggled close. Wandering around new cities with my headphones in. I make playlists catered to cities and seasons. Shutting out the world and putting my own soundtrack to it is existential. Clipping my cuticles. Catching my favorite movies randomly on TV. The bear hugs I get from my best friend and favorite person in the world. The electrifying energy of thunderstorms. Snowstorms and blizzards have their own romance too. Smoking a cigarette and watching the sun rise.

But, I would caution you about 'new cities with headphones'. Compromising your situational awareness in new environments is not the best plan. Safety first! I found a new one last night. Walking in a gentle rain is always soothing. Doing so naked is even better. 😜

For me, happiness is an inside job. If it's a function of "things," I'm screwed. However, that's a difficult perspective for me to maintain without daily reminders.
