Posted March 21, 2017 Went to the Doc again today, all is good in my world. Told him I was gonna go to men’s clinic to get set up for the injection pen. He said “Dude why? I can do that for you”. Lesson learned, talk to your doctor about anything. He’s the same age as I am and said yeah, works for a while, but he’s gone to an implant. The scrip is for Caverject. Start dose at 10mcg, 2 per scrip. Cost with Pfizer discount card is $46 a dose. Not bad figure $13 more than a 100 dose of Viagra, which IMO stinks. Don’t need it, but I’m gonna try it. There are those of us who have taken the pills. Through the course of 11 years, I tried all 3 varieties of pills. The side effects (severe headaches, nausea, acid reflux, among others ) were just getting to be too much. The effectiveness of the pills were diminishing for me also. As others have said the shot is so tiny, you barely feel a pinch when it is injected. The shot proved to be sort of a miracle worker for me.
