SuperBowl Food...

20 posts in this topic

I have had 5 requests for chicken wings and buffalo wings for my gathering ,so needless to say I will be serving  lots of chicken LOL

I am curious , are chicken wings the official football party food? Or will it be too much if I also offered a few other options???

I would love some football worthy Grub Ideas ;)

What Are You  guys and gals serving?

As mentioned, Super Bowl Sunday is the Black Friday for pizza shops.

Chili is popular. I know some folks that smoke meat (can do a slow roast pork shoulder in the oven). Chicago-style Italian beef. Subs/heroes/po-boys.

More food, more better. Basically, stuff you can eat with hands/fingers, minimal untensils, can eat standing.

I'm heading to a sports bar, so I'm letting them serve me.  I'm sure wings will be on the menu!  #GoFalcons

Dips are great with chips, bread, and veggies.  Have to have my homemade guacamole, plus some cheesy artichoke dip.  Then maybe bean dip, cheese dip, or just salsa.

The ol staples, guac, deviled eggs,  and for the main this year Jambalaya, loaded to hilt in various sausages, chicken thighs, shrimp and crab meat. No pizza for me!

Simple pinwheels, pull apart cheesy bread, and wings, wings, wings! I went to Costco 3 weeks ago and bought 3 giant bags. Deviled eggs with guacamole. I went on Pintrest and searched superbowl food.

Well, since the game doesn't start until later, I guess I would have to admit that my favorite pre-game snack would be a furburger with a side order of thighs.  Actually, that is my favorite pre-anything snack.
