My favorite is advent(well, the child version) where you would make a rice crispie wreath and red hot candy with four candles(3 purple, and one pink). You got to light them every week, and after the pink one eat the rice crispie wreath. You would read a passage about Christ's birth each time, and pray. I always looked forward to that. I also loved to go around singing Christmas Carols. xoxo, Samantha Sheppard

But I can certainly agree with the "kill commercialism" sentiment buried within. 26 minutes ago, SultryKitten said: My favorite is advent(well, the child version) where you would make a rice crispie wreath and red hot candy with four candles(3 purple, and one pink). Maybe you should start that one since you're so full of good cheer

I simply gave you an honest and direct answer to the question you posed. Perhaps you should specify in the future "only happy, supportive answers that support my point of view" Have a happy, safe and memorable holiday of your choice!

My tradition and good cheer could be an "Air of Grievance" to somebody. :-D Xoxo, Samantha Sheppard
