Same day only. Why?

I have noticed what seems to be a trend especially on BP of ladies stating they only make same day appointments or "only call when ready to see me."  I did not want to hijack another thread or make it about a particular lady so new thread.  Curious what the theory is from the ladies' perspective.  As always, run your business as you see fit, but I do not understand this model.  From just this guy's perspective I research and decide who I want to see carefully.  To that end I like to schedule ahead so I can make sure that is who I get to see. (Plus I like the building anticipation) I really dislike the model of start calling the day of and inevitably "settle" for someone that is not my actual preference.  So, just curious ...... why the same day thing?

Maybe they have a very unpredictable schedule because of other jobs or family responsibilities. They can't commit to an appointment in the future since they don't know if they would be available or not even it they want to. Just a theory because I can't understand that business model either.

I would guess that currently it has a lot to do with flakes. Many ladies I have talked to have complained about time wasters and NCNSs increasing in numbers. Just today I had to tell three separate guys to buzz off if they weren't going to book.

I know it's not popular to talk about but business sucks. So many of us are struggling to make ends meet while having to deal with cock knockers. Jerky clients and slow business mean high stress levels and different tactics to get what you want. I haven't gone as far to say same day calls only but I have made it an effort to know it's my current preference. Prebooks are great but these days I can go days between calls so I would absolutely prefer a same day call.

I have noticed in the past few years that guys that preschedule tend to cancel. Maybe this is the reason? Personally, I love it when they schedule in advance, but it does suck when they cancel and especially when it is becoming a trend. Like Lucy said, the NCNS have gone up and seems to be more prevalent during the holidays so us ladies are being more direct in our advertising. Or, I could be completely wrong. LOL!

I have the opposite issue. I get clients calling wanting something right away because they are "in the area". Then they seem annoyed or bummed I am not available. I try to make it clear to every client that sees me that a certain time of day is real popular, and if you call during those times wanting last minute...you will be disappointed. Maybe one day they will learn.

I can't speak on the ladies POV, but can tell you from my POV, it could be clever marketing.  The rents due, kids need new shoes, bill needs paid etc marketing ploy (to me) doesn't work.  I prefer to pre-book a day or two out, but there are certain circumstances I cannot.  Also, some times, my day frees up and I will peruse ads and see someone is advertising for this day only. 

If it's a lady I want to see, I'd be more tempted to call the same day vs another day.

This is the worst holiday season I've ever experienced. I haven't bought 1 single Christmas present. It's depressing! 

I will add that the amount of guys not wanting to be screened is ridiculous as well. When you ask for a name and get called a fucking cunt...Yeah baby comes right over.

I have trouble pre booking, if I can it is usually only the day before. My schedule sometimes really is unpredictable, would hate to schedule then have to cancel, then be considered a flake. I would imagine that most ladies that only schedule for that day ,has something to do with their schedules also.

Clients sometimes "flake out", even regulars. Time demands and Life sometimes get in the way of guilty pleasures. Being understanding of each others' time and circumstances is all anyone can ask...and always to make it right with the provider if you're a "Jerky" client that has had to reschedule for any reason.

Well sadly BBB for most it's not really a marketing ploy. A lot of us can't afford to keep up currently. We can't afford prebooks that cancel, we're struggling to pay for expensive advertising, we're struggling to get bills paid so holiday shopping is out of the question.

We fully understand as providers what seems like marketing gimmicks and that's it difficult on you guys to set limitations like same day only but we also have to adjust how we market and do business when the times get really tight. It's frustrating to you guys but it's way more frustrating for us and the frequency in which we have to deal with people who waste our time which in turn hurts our income.

It all boils down to mutual respect. Respect for someone who has prepared a beautiful room/office for you to relax in, fixed her hair and make-up and looks her best, and has possibly driven many miles to accommodate you, yet on the flip side, respect for a paying gent who has also driven a ways to see you (possibly) and has gone to an ATM to pay a fairly good-sized sum for his enjoyment. Mutual respect for another person's time is paramount.

The thing is that this business/hobby is not like any other. It's not like scheduling with the dentist or buying a new toaster or test driving the car of our dreams. There are a lot of personal and human factors both in the ladies and in the gents, that makes it difficult just because we are human beings with normal lives, urgent needs, changing plans, feelings, joys and frustrations.

The key should be mutual respect, and err on the side of being too respectful than not.

It's unfortunate when a cancellation happens. Your points here are valid. It's the clients' responsibility to make it right. The provider can either grant a reschedule visit or chalk it up to a business casualty and not see the client again. It all depends on the length of their business relationship and whether the provider feels she can recoup the lost income off this already flaky (jerky) client and if it's worth the risk to her to have him cancel for whatever reason again.

Unfortunately we have providers threatening clients with private investigators. Another provider threatening to beat up clients. Outing them at there job employment. This type of behavior keeps happening here in Denver. Its only getting worse. That is a fact. All three of these incidents where posted on TOB recently by well known hobbyist warning the other guys. One of them submitted proof as an attachment on TOB. So no guy with a job and a family is going to wanna screen out this type bullshit happening repeatedly. We can not blame them for that. This what P411 is good for. They probably have to much to lose. It is simply not worth the risk. This is just the tip of the ice berg. A lot of men read TOB.

^^This^^ This is pretty much how I operate. I seem to being doing just fine. Its really simple. Another reason clients are going to spend time and money with there wives and family and not with escorts during the Holidays. I have experienced NCNS I simply move on. NEXT.... his loss. Out of personal experience, never put all your eggs into one basket. Have more than one source of income. You won't have to worry about anything. I

If you pull a NCNS on me, I will save your number. The next time you call me, I won't even ask for screening. I will book you for the hour. I will give you my old address. When you arrive and realize your at the wrong door, I will refresh your memory with a snap shot of your NCNS you pulled on me, and be like "how you like me now". If you write me bad review ill admit I did it and why. The key should be mutual respect.

Kudos and Welcome to TOB. Most Newbie providers are only here to promote themselves rather than actually join in the discussion.

I think the ladies have a very complicated business.  In addition to running an entertainment enterprise that fouces on ambience, beauty, and delectability, they are also running what amounts to a travel agency-- who's coming, who's going, what are the current impediments--traffic, LE, hotel personnel, SOs, work schedule changes, winter colds, etc.  There are many reasons why appontments get cancelled or changed on both sides of the equation.  However, I think the gentlemen, when they make an appointment, whether it's in advance or same day, have to consider whether if something comes up that requires a cancellation, do they have a viable way of contacting the lady and letting her know with as much notice as possible.  NCNS are not acceptable whether you're meeting friends for lunch or whether you've scheduled a a meeting with a lady.  It's just common manners to let someone know if the plan has changed.  But at the same time, I think all who choose to dabble in this hobby have to accept the inherent risks that an anticipated appointment may not happen.  In that case, all involved have to be considerate of the many variables that make this work.  I for one, am grateful that we have on-line communication, text and P411.  Those tools make the prospect of meeting up, much more certain and easier to manage than the old days of only a phone call or some random ad in a paper.

Never understood why clients would engage in NCNS behavior. If unforeseen circumstances occurred I've always called or texted  a good deal ahead of time to let the provider know

What's really bad is when you have a P411 account and you pull NCNS. You only give yourself a bad reputation. You are also handing over the upper hand to providers that require real world information for this reason by doing this.

Melissa that kind of shit is really painful to hear! Bunch of tire kickers some weeks and yes we suffer. Especially the ladies who only do this sort of work only!Emotionaly and financially! Like to know which provider is treating to beat up or kill anyone. My intuition tells me that this is only hot air. Angry sure a bit acting out sure, but threatening clients with such behavior such as killing, treating, calling out names, threating them at their employment, hiring a private investigator....WAY over the top!! Please let's just be honest and not out of control to the point of sounding insane! l don't know any providers that are fairly established that would ever dream of behaving this way!

My thinking is that if a provider is going to go "all psycho" on her clients than maybe this profession isn't for her anymore. We have got enough drama to deal with...we don't need to add to it! Ugh! I'm not sure I will ever know why the ladies post same day only,  some good suggestions in the thread above.

As a traveling person who has flights delayed, destinations changed the day before,  customer dinners, team events among other things popping up,  same day only, available now, and short notice threads are very helpful to me. 

This means I will never get to see the ladies that require 24-36 hour notice. And that cuts out some really good people.

1. I want provider/client's name that is threating clients and other providers, killed.

2. I want the name of the investigator who is on this so called ghost hunt case. 

3. I want to see Denver Post or legitimate articles from reliable sources. And they all need to be posted recently. Not out of state ten years ago stuff. ( We all know about the Grand Junction case provider). Must be within the last 3-4 years as you claim recent.
