Lawyer Recommendations

31 posts in this topic

Using the big head here to plan ahead for the worst case...  :)   For years I've seen the great advice on this board on how to respond if busted in a sting operation:  "Shut up and ask to call your lawyer."  Luckily I've never found myself in that situation.  However, if I did, I wouldn't have a clue who to call.  For anyone who's been in that situation, do you have any advice?   I can't imagine calling a lawyer ahead of time and explaining why some day I may potentially need their services.  Would you rely on a public defender?  (That seems kind of chancy.)  Any recommendations out there for a "hobby" lawyer who would take your call out of the blue?

Find a criminal defense attorney, most have a $300-$500 holding fee for just that exact situation, that way when you call for your situation, your set to begin an ugly process and keep in mind that your NOT their first client to do this ... But Why not Join p411 and AVOID the situation at all?

I know of people that say that after Ashley Madison and all the hacking going around nowadays it can be intimidating to send all the information P411 requests. Sure P411 swears once and again that they erase everything you send them. It might be true but I would say that not believing in P411's promise would be an answer to your question.

Like physicians and accountants, one ought to have an ongoing relationship with a legal firm.  Looking in the yellow pages when you need one is piss poor planning.

It's best to find a criminal lawyer or a lawyer who is also a criminal.

You can join P411 if you have enough refs from girls (that's how I did it). Nothing they have is tied to me. Not to say that the FBI couldn't get me if they put all the pieces together and chained together circumstantials, but nothing like P411 just keeping a pic of my DL linked to my account lol. (Though if I lose my account info and email, I'm SOL too)

I am confused about why P411 came up at all. I didn't see anything about them offering legal advise and a lawyer to show up! Nothing prevents the cops from turning a girl from P411 - just makes it a little harder than BP. Doesn't matter if you're the first client she screws over or the last, still a bad day for you and we pop back to the original question that I'd like to know as well - just flip over to the modern yellow pages? Google the situation (though if you're in custody I doubt that works)?  How about if you're traveling to another city, use P411, the hotel notices and detains the gal on the way into your hotel - or gets the cops to sting while she's be there for a night?  (Or whatever scenario). It's hard to find good enough friends that would lie to police for you, I sure don't expect someone I meet here and don't know to keep me out of trouble :D

Now that I think of it, my lawyers' phone numbers are in the Contact List of my phone. That won't do much good after they seize my phone during the arrest.

(Note to self: Transfer some critical #s to paper, laminate & carry in your wallet.)

P411 is the default answer to every issue that is brought up here. Although it may be a great tool for screening, I'm not convinced that it is the answer to every situation that it has been attributed to be the sure safe answer.

In this case, legal advice isn't provided by having a P411 account and it's best to have Larry the Lawyer at your disposal should the proverbial substance hit the oscillating electrical appliance.

Thanks for the advice.  It may be worth shelling out a few $$$ for the peace of mind to have a defense attorney lined up.  I'm curious how many TOB members have such an arrangement set up.  PMs would be welcome if anyone has specific attorney recommendations.

I'm already on P411 and follow the great "safe hobbying" advice I've picked up here over the years.  Sticking to well-reviewed P411 gals, reviews, hobby phone, no personal info or credit cards tied to anything, VPN, etc. can reduce the risk.  In the back of my mind I've always feared a nosy maid, complaining neighbor, or psycho former client has the potential to cause problems no matter how careful you are.  In the unlikely event that it happens, I'd like to avoid a panicked call to a yellow-pages lawyer from the pokey.

There are a couple attorneys that claim to specialize in prostitution and/or solicitation cases in Denver.  I am reluctant to post their names because I have no idea whether they are good or not - thankfully no need for ...... yet!  But a google search will pull them up.

OK, I can't take it anymore.  Not directed at you specifically Joe, yours was just the post that finally put me over the edge.

For all you p411 fans (for clarity I have been a member for 7 years and I do recommend) and "no personal information ever given out" and especially those that preach the first to avoid the second ......... have you ever READ THEIR GUIDELINES??  Your member id is made up of your first name, birth day and a four digit number that is a part of an id unique to you.  They STRONGLY suggest a provider require a john to produce an id that proves he is the guy with the p411 id that booked with her - in other words an id that has your name, birthday and number.  They STRONGLY recommend the provider NOT SEE the john if he fails to produce said id and that she report the refusal to p411.  So how exactly does this fit with no private information?  Only because MOST providers do not actually follow the suggested guidelines and neither do most johns, which only serves to greatly reduce the benefit of the service!!!

And while on the rant and again not directed at you but audience in general - for the love of perversion and all joys found therein, DO NOT give out your member id in any way or circumstance other than through a specific request - appointment, ok, etc. - THROUGH the p411 site.  If you put your full p411 id on your profile page here you are compromising your account AND jeopardizing the safety of all other members by extension.  As such and not liking your stupidity (those who place id on profile page) threatening MY safety, I will report your ass to p411.  Rant out.

Speaking of useless, welcome back.

Since you can't read and comprehend I will say it slowly for you.  Search     for    attorney    specializing    in    this field.     THEN       research      their           reputations.  That easy enough for you???

There are so many scenarios not considered when the use X site advice comes out. And it's not just P411 it's any site that's pushed as safe. You can have the safest and most legit of providers that you booked through to P411 but it doesn't mean that you can't get caught. But ultimately it doesn't answer the question! It also sounds like the guys have some issues on their side they need to acknowledge and fix.

I was actually hoping for some better replies or that we might even have some lawyers in the house. I have some questions and too have thought about finding a good lawyer to keep on call. It's a little off topic from the OPs fears but I wonder if legal help couldn't help some of us ladies out with these sites that are stealing our info like crazy.

Afternoon all,

No lawyer recommendations...just an update. I read the rules for posting and cannot name names of escort service...I think.
I go to TOB and read the forums and reviews...OK call me a troll. But I joined to share this story for clients.
Called an escort service in Sept 2016. They sent pictures and said she would arrive at my place at designated time. Not the woman in the pictures arrived.
Invited her into my house, she played with my dog and we chatted. She asked me to go upstairs and we did.
Long story short, after she disrobed and asked me to do the same, she stated she only does strip tease and massage and started going bonkers.
I immediately got up and got dressed and she called her service and wanted me to talk them and I said no and asked her to leave my home.
She refused. She made up a story to her service and they called the cops. I kept asking her to leave my house and did not want my money back, $240.

Make it brief, when the cops came, she accused me of everything and cops charged me with false imprisonment. Hired a lawyer.
$3,000 later in lawyer fees, 4 months later, charges dismissed and suppressed. She lied and could have faced a felony, but I wanted done with her.

I will not PM any further details. My lawyer was great and the DA was a jerk and ultimately lost. DA was not happy.

If you get a lawyer, tell them everything and do not hide anything. Be very honest with your lawyer. Write down immediately everything you remember so you can review it and your story is consistent.Be honest in your story. Review the police reports and comment to their to statements in a document and review those as well before every court appearance. The police were terrible with their reports. In court they review their statements, but they do not remember anything and their statements can be challenged, if you are prepared.

Be careful out there....

So, then precisely what is the point of this post unless just flaming FUD?  There is waaaaaay more to this story (or it is fabrication) than being presented.  You ask a provider to leave and tell her she can keep the full fee and she refuses???  There is not a provider on the planet, legit or ripoff or in between, nor an agency, also legit or not, that is not going to quietly and happily take you up on this offer.  She refused to leave and wanted agency called??  Agency called cops cause you wanted her to leave early and keep ,money?  Bullshit.

Both are long time TOB members and good guys. Just a difference of opinion once in a while.

Just a couple grouches that occasionally rub each other all wrong (I tell him to keep his hands off but .....)  Trying to fix grouchiness by getting laid more.  And hey, we agreed twice in the last week!!

But thanks, try to be.

If you get scooped up in a sting, remember it's not like you are being charged with a capitol offense. Exercise your right to remain silent and then call a BAIL-BONDSMAN to bail you out of jail...IF you even need one ( you might just get a citation). THEN once out....find a lawyer.
