The over abundance of $300/hr +  providers keeps many on the sidelines.

I think we are still here, maybe some are seeing regulars more than exploring.

Great session with a great provider:  $200

Knowing that you didn't overpay:  priceless

That's probably me. That and combined that time is valuable right now. I love this time of year. My other Hobbies hold my attention span a lot right now. Time to find some new regulars as some of mine seem to disappearing as well. That and I'm busy, and that's a good thing.

Actually, while I have found a somewhat loose  correlation between the amount of requested donation and the quality of my time, it certainly is not a direct correlation.  I have visited ladies whose requested donations range from $125 to $500, and some of the very nicest, best looking, FTF, ladies requested from $125 to $300 for an hour of their companionship, and the $500 visit, although visually stunning, was really not very satisfying.  That said, my current ATFs range from $220 to $350 per hour and I don't see any difference between them at all in that range.  I don't mind paying $350 for a visit; however, I do have to admit sometimes the calculation of "I could see *** twice for what it costs to see *** once" does cross my mind, but then I start thinking about how much fun I have had with both of them and it usually comes down to which one can see me when I can get away.

Money, nice to have, but you can't take it with you.

Price point is an issue for me.  No lowballing...... but IF I don't have $$$ and can't find a more frugal choice, I just don't play.  Have never, nor will I ever haggle on cost, I just sit back and feel sorry for myself.  I suspect that others do the same thing.

Nope. Not even close. Go ahead and stick your head in the sand and ignore what many clients are experiencing.

The OP asked a question. I presented one point of view. You are the one not offering an answer.

How about we don't turn this into a rate thread? There is an abundance of those under $300 an hour too so there are options.

It's slow across the board. I don't speak for everyone but from what I gather the majority are experiencing a lack of business. Some I can imagine is lack of funds but is that true for everyone? Election time is usually slow but lately it seems business has come to a complete halt. Is it cash flow, less time available? Are guys apprehensive? Are there too many choices?

Normally this business can be fairly predictable but it that's becoming less true by the day. Days and times of the day that used to be busy aren't, weekends are busy when they used to not be so busy. So who really knows what's up.

The absence of clientele may be the season.

In the Fall gentlemen are not as horney as they would be in the Sring

Interesting theory...is there any scientific evidence that this is true? I haven't heard this presented before. Then again, my sarcasm switch is turned off so I'm unable to detect whether you're being serious or just trying to be funny.

I can only speak for myself when I say that there isn't one season over another where I'm less horny than another. Pretty much at full throttle all the time...

No Scientific evidence but I have noticed though the years that in the Sring I am slammin and in the Fall it seems to be only the regulars that are around.

One has to wonder if we all get a little lazy come fall and winter.

If we were wild animals we would be preparing for the winter and even hibernating.

I do not know if Gentleman are in some way linked to this but it seems to be the same year in and year out.

Only the super Horney get laid this time of year!

I think it's like this every year. This year having the election doesn't  help. I think it creates an air of uncertainty. Plus the holidays are going to be here before we know it and the guys don't have as much due to the wives spending on gifts,  which is normal, we all have families. This is what I've been told over the years. Expect things to be slower in November til the last two weeks of December, and dead in January. January comes with paying credit card bills and college tuition or those with offspring in college. Then in March it picks back up and by May, things are busy again. This is the trend since 09' and without fail.

Let me see.  One economist or another warns us that no matter who wins in a week the economy will tank and the financial world will teeter on brink of collapse.  Then a major pipeline blows up and there is a threat of gas prices through the roof.  Dire stories of health insurance rising 25 to 40 percent.  Guys are trying to figure out how to afford the holidays and any travel plans.  All three major sports and betting opportunities are going full bore to divert attention and time.  Performance appraisals and layoffs looming at numerous places of employment.  So all of the above and other factors, many that happen this time of year every year, cause some to pause and be a bit tight with their money.  Should all loosen up again after holidays - world will not end no matter which worthless jackass wins.  As to me all the above just makes me think "Damn, I need to get laid!"  Speaking of which, why am I wasting time here? Time to give a fave a jingle. :D

I was wondering where mag gets his gas, or what type of car he has if he can fill up for $2.50? B)

For me this wasn't the trend for the past two years. Usually the holiday season was busy for me and January and February a total loss, that's flipped. I used to look forward to the holidays because it was a time of big tips! There are always those short on cash during the holidays but I always found just as many were lonely and without families for the holidays. I've also noticed that since Colorado only has two seasons now, mild and snow, that the spring fever hits early.

The past few months I've had more business on just Saturdays than the whole week. For me personally it's become much more unpredictable and with NC/NSs and last minute cancellations on the rise it's even harder for me to predict.

Lucy, thank you.

I frequently return to my favorites, but the OP has made me think that maybe it's time for something new.

Once a week, rain or shine, summer or winter.  I have always thought that one great advantage of being human was that we had a year-round rutting cycle.  In fact, I can't wait until ski season starts up - this sporting life makes for a wonderful apres' ski activity - much healthier than going to a bar (trust me, I've tried both).  At some point in life you realize the only season better than the one you are in is the one that is coming up, and you are really looking forward to it.

Yes studies have shown in recessive years luxury spending is increased yet the consumer tends to be twice as picky. People get sad in a recession and  services tends to be more "needed". I agree either way the ecocomy tanks, good for providers  ( hopefully  good for the client too ) bad for  tax breaks, housing loans, and getting a credit card. Good for vice items ( escorts, cigarettes, drugs etc..) Example: Prohibition.

You do get what you pay for. I just saw a listing for under $100. That's scary. If I were a hobbyist that would scare me to death. Probably NOT an Independent and maybe staying at Motel 6?

It costs a fortune to tour and advertise. Ya all gotta keep that in mind and when you have a high average; you do get what you pay for!

My 2 cents

Can't wait to come back to Denver! My new favorite city in the US!
