On the background - music and television.

40 posts in this topic

Personally I think most men see the television turned on as a distraction during sessions but some providers keep them open for some reason. Any ladies here who want to share probable reasons?

Music on the other hand definitely can enhance the overall experience depending ofcourse on what type, how loud and the preferences of both parties. At first I did not care about music because I just want to indulge in the "natural sounds" created until I get to appreciate it later on. In my experience, I would say the best mood music would be instrumental EDM trance. Props to Hailey Bee for that:) Any other preference ladies and gents of TOB?

While music may hide the sounds emanating from the room, but the conversations of TV will mask them better.

Some ladies you would need a live rock band to muffle the sounds and screams. I definitely know one for sure.  :cheezy:

TV is an escorting no no. If the TV is on, it's distracting and takes away from the undivided attention the client is ultimately paying for. If I were a guy I would see it as the lady not taking me or our time seriously.

Then again,  if you're only seeking a 3g quickie it really shouldn't matter, right.

Personally, I request that the TV be turned off, if it in.

I have often wondered if some ladies use the television as a clock substitute.

TV is definitely a no-no. Music is appropriate, volume/genre appropriate...Although, I have been asked to have adult themed playfulness on the TV but of course, this was pre-arranged. 😉

Television is a deal breaker. Too hard to concentrate on the task at hand.

If the TV is on, I hope it's a sex tape or video of the lady you're with (very hot when it happens)!  Other than this, TV off please!

Tv is a turn off for me even if when it is porn playing. Sorry, I am not into porn guys. I think the only time I might make an exception is if I was doing something special like a sport special or something, but otherwise...pass!

Guilty confession there was a brief moment that I didn't turn the TV. When FXX showed every Simpsons ever in order and in their original state (not edited syndication versions) I did not turn of my TV for 12 days. My Simpsons obsession is a little out of control.

Ambient, Reiki, Zen, Tibtan, healing, nature sounds, instramental, or classical music very soft in the background (variation of any of that)  That's what I like ;)

Shoot, I can even have a good time by myself if the TV is on. It is very distracting. I prefer some sensual music in the background.

Good points coming from both sides.

To me, we are already multitasking as far session activities themselves are concerned. Cerebrally, we think about what where how and when if you know what i mean. Plus we listen and watch for signals from each other. It takes a lot to fully enjoy an experience especially that you only get to encounter each other once or a couple times.

Simply put. The Broncos focus to play their best for the patrons and the patrons focus on the action to enjoy a great game. Both have roles and both are getting something out of it and they deserve ultimate enjoyment. And in this case both parties get to play boh roles. So we don't want anything that doesn't contribute to the experience.

LOL. That can come during breaks.  On that note, television may be allowed during halftime for relaxation :)

Do our ladies agree?

That's sad, Reiki. You should find another one if you can. I have an Armenian duduk in my closet. I take it out only to rub it with olive oil and keep it from deteriating. I never got the courage to figure out how to play it. That's great that can play the Didgerdoo. I think if there was a sound that could describe my soul, the sound from an instrument, it would be the duduk. For me though I'm too self conscious about what music I listen to. I listen by myself. It's a different sort of intimacy. T V not so much. I've never had a session where the provider was clearly looking at it rather than at me. Just a background noise.

I would so love to hear you play Vassago,  You give me goosebumps just hearing you talk about it! It was SO many years ago back in 2006 when I met up with this incredible  Aboriginal Shaman who my Reiki Instructor fell in love with totally! I got to learn a bit from him, but wow my instructor really got good at playing!!!  So, I decided before my instructor with Reiki left Denver I would give her my instrument as a goodbye gift.  Figured  I got an incredible gift from her with learning  Reiki and she always admired the didgeridoo.  It was like a must!!! Please learn to play it the instrument will get lonely if you don't play and enjoy it! Everything has energy and resonates  on a vibration. No two digerie's sound the same either (not sure how many people are aware of that)??!!  I know you should work with it! Don't be  leaving your beautiful instrument in the back of your closet please!

Also, sorry it took me a while to get back to you!!

I remember seeing a fella in Nottingham Hill area sitting with half a dozen digestives sitting in front of him - different woods, different lengths, different diameters. Each had a distinctive sound.

TV on? Might as well get in a few phone calls, bring out the wedding pictures and open a magazine.

They are all hand crafted and incredible instruments! Wooden flutes are also beautiful too. Not sure who the person you saw selling the Diger's? That's pretty damn cool though Bit Banger!  I have not heard anything more from the Shaman who was giving concerts/healing circles/ lessons either? Sorry if people find this conversation boring? Sadly said, everyone is so quick to run off to their medical doctor to get on more pills that end up causing more harm.  Not so many people are interested into looking into alternative forms of healing/music.  Over the weekend i tried a session without any music and it was OK, but from here on forward I am going to always play my healing sound music. It just helps with calming people down and centering the mood. ;)

I often play smooth jazz music while entertaining clients. Recently I have begun putting on adult movies instead of playing music during sessions. I haven't received any feedback about the change, or what is preferred. I am curious about what hobbyists generally prefer as their ambience while in appointments? Thanks! Xoxo

He was not selling the Digers. He was a busker (street performer - They're all over London). He was also selling CDs/tapes of his music.
