Thoughts on provider pics

36 posts in this topic

Good evening everyone!  What are your thoughts on providers who publish full body pictures without a mirror.  My first thought whenever I see them is: who is behind the camera? I understand it helps us make a decision based on the entire package, but the question still burns in my head.  In my convoluted mind a "selfy"  picture seems safer and would imply an independent provider.  Obviously there is a huge flaw in my thought process there, but I'm interested in your thoughts.  Ladies feel free to chime in as well regarding how you like to post or what ever omes to mind.

I have known many providers who had......I know it is hard to believe....FRIENDS!  Some of the ladies would actually get together with their "friends" and dress up all pretty-like and take pictures of each other!

Sometimes, those providers who are particularly wealthy and powerful will enlist the services of people called "professional photographers" to take photos.  You may have actually seen one of these professionals in action if you ever attended a wedding.

Sometimes, providers have clients they like and trust.  And sometimes, these clients will want a memento....a photograph of their most beloved provider with some worldly possession they own:  A sports car, a boat, a fancy gun, an airplane.  The client takes the photo and if it turns out well, the provider may decide to use it in her advertising.

Needless to say, I could go on and on and on, but I think I've made my point.

Jumping to the conclusion that only pimps could take a providers full-body picture is ridiculous.

Haha direct and to the point.  I definitely considered your points prior to the post, and referenced in the line, "Obviously there is a flaw in my thought process there..." Judging by your comment I feel I have irritated you, and it wasn't my intent, nor am I truly insinuating that only pimps take those pictures.  I'm interested in everyone's opinion regarding the topic and/or perhaps other little irrational nuances people have related to the hobby.

<shrug>  He asked.  I answered.

Your inability to appreciate or understand my reasons for being sarcastic hardly indicates a need for a sedative on my part.  Indeed, considering that this entire forum is fraught with sarcasm, and your objection to my use of it, the indicators of the need for a sedative prescription point back at you.

Let's see, in addition to the photo logistics mentioned by Laplace, and Kali, there are self-timers on many digital cameras, as well as remote controls. Add a tripod, or flat surface...voila!

Personally. I really like the professional pics many women use. :)

I'm not complaining about the use said photos at all.  I actually do photography as a hobby with a couple professional cameras.  It's fairly easy to tell the difference between a professional camera and photographer vs a friend, John or whom ever with a camera phone or push button camera.  Ms.  Melissa Sterling on here has almost complete professionally taken portfolio and I wouldn't at all be hesitant to visit her, if she was my type.  I have also visited with ladies whom took the same type photos of which I created this post with very positive outcomes.  I guess my overall point being it makes me irrationally hesitant albeit not necessarily a deal breaker.  Does anyone understand what I'm getting at, or share similiar superstitions.

Also, although not totally sure, Xanax probably doesn't help in our hobby.

That's a yes.

I can see the sarcasm. Don't mean it needs to be appreciated. You ain't that important. Or good at it, for that matter. Just another dick on the internet. Nothing too special about that.

Actually only 3 out of the 11 were done by "professional" photographer. (First 3) The rest were taken by my husband or a client. I need new ones though.

I don't think anyone does understand. I don't understand what your getting at. Perhaps being vague doesn't bode well for this subject. What exactly is it that you wonder if others can relate to?

@laplace I always read your posts with a sarcastic accent. ;-) <3

I see what you're getting at and with some pics on Bp, you can definitely get the vibe its taken by her pimp. The girls on TOB are way beyond that!

I guess the easiest way to explain my point is, when I see a picture that is obviously taken by someone other than the provider and short of a "photoshoot," I wonder whom else is there, or what may I be potentially walking into.  Concecious seems that it really isn't a concern so I will lead with that thought from now.  10 years Navy special warfare have taught me to try to minimize all risk when possible, or to obtain as much info successfully complete the mission.

Another perspective - A beautiful, semi-professional photo can lead us to think 'photoshopped' and then to conclude highly edited and misleading. This is not often the case, but commercial advertising and marketing have battered us into feeling untrusting.

Note that there is a place on reviews to indicate whether the pictures are accurate.

Overall, pictures can't fill in all the details. I like to see a friendly smile, the tempting eyes, experience the warm personality, and for me, a witty sense of humor. These traits and others are difficult to convey and, of course, YMMV.

Quick answer, NO!  Unless I see a guys reflection in the mirror, a foot or something else, I assume the lady is taking the pic with a timer.  On one occasion, two ladies shared an incall.  One was taking pics of five 'other' half-naked (and naked) ladies while I was there.

Side note:  One of the happiest days of my life! ;)

I don't think it matters too much who takes the picture. So what if it was a dude? Did you think you'd be her first ? Providers are still people, after all, and they're going to have people in their lives that matter to them who are men- husbands, boyfriends, friends. Just enjoy your time with her. If you're very concerned, you can always request no men be present in the room with you while doing your thing.

Crazy thread... Thinking you are on HYPER paranoid alert! It really does not matter. As long as the pictures are not stolen. Professional or not. Self taken or cell phone.STOLEN pictures are the only issue of concern. And the only issue that should concern anyone. Due to the fact YOU don't know what else the.provider might be concealing!?No pimp on my end. Some of these ladies work for agency's. Yes and few mostly B.P. ladies (mostly young girls) have pimps.  Scary to think about human trafficking.

Anyway I have to get ready for.my office. Have a nice day...Ya I work two jobs by the way...What does that make me I wonder?! Nothing! I am just me HUMAN like all the rest of us providers!

Why should anyone even have to ask? It's a dead give away NOBODY is supposed to be hiding or even watching a session going on unless invited! !

Haha, perhaps I was a little vague in my initial description.  Too many people to quote so I will attempt to hash it out.   Obviously I don't think, I'm the first for the provider, that would be ludacrist, also there is a lot to be said for experience.  Regarding professional pictures, I have zero issues with them.  I've noticed most of TOB and P411 providers use pics along those lines and it brings a sense of professionalism legitisism to the provider.  I'm with Miss Sabrina Lynn on why would anyone be there unless requested by myself?  I have seen many full body pics on BP where I see the reflection of a man in the mirror taking the picture.  That is generally my biggest concern.  I assume they are generally long gone by the time I contact the provider.  Ignorance is generally bliss especially in a hobby with so many unknown variables.  I wouldn't consider myself paranoid per se rather cautious when I catch an oversight in a providers advertisement.  Does that clear things up a bit?

Are you worried that a man is going to walk in on you in the middle of the session? Just wondering if that has ever happened? Knowing where you are going to and what you should expect to happed. I.guess if you can make out the refection of a man you should have your concerns. Then again poßsibly the photographer is a legit and just that a "photographer". You might want to ask the provider a few questions a head of time? If you feel that you got an honest and comfortable answers? Chances are all is good to go! Happy hunting! ;)

Actually, YES!!!

Well, almost. She got up & left the room after 1st pop 10min into an upsell for a 'full hour' session. (It had been a long dry spell.) I figured no problem, when HE walks in, black leather duster & all, saying, "Time for you to leave, man!"  Who am I to argue when my clothes hanging on a chair.

This was back in the days of newspaper ads.

I remember those days...OMG!!! I can't even imagine how you must have felt!? That is so horrible! What did you do? If you paid for a hour...Guess, take down some very important notes and sckaddalle your ass out of that place IMMEDIATELY!

No need to take notes.  No place to post them in those days & my only hobby buddy lived 1000mi away.

Wow, that would definitely put a crimp in my enthusiasm!..

When I see professionally done photos, it is a major reassurance for me.  Many selfies are too close in or blurred to get a feel for what the lady will look like in a session.  Cleaner shots are also sexier in my opinion.

Photoshop aside, I would much rather be with a lady with quality photos; the impression I get is that she is professional and is putting serious thought and effort into her presentation.

Some selfies can  be very well done.  Some, not so much!

@ LaciFrench: The guy you mentioned in another thread?  With the fishbowl request?  You should hook him up with this gal:

To the OP:  Given your concerns, this is the kind of provider ad I would avoid!!!:

My recent photos were done by another escort who told me I needed some good body shots. You can thank her for those "booty" shots. LOL!

I have had them done by professionals, girlfriends, boyfriends, clients, myself...whatever strikes my fancy. Who cares as long as it shows you what you are getting when you walk through the door. :-)

Mass confusion in the second picture. The first is a body shot in total shadow. I think there is an ad on Backpage right now that all the pictures look like they were taken in the dark. Now you got me checkout ads. Lol! ;))))need to work on brighting up my own a bit maybe?

In a former life I was a professional photographer, and have since then preached the point (even in a couple of posts here) that the camera doesn't matter, it is the light and the subject that matter.  At the end of a recent sporting event with a young lady, I told her that I thought that her pro photos were very nice and well done, but that they didn't capture her true beauty and, gentleman that I am, I offered to take some photos of her with her own cellphone (meaning I didn't get to keep them).  The light was bad and the phone was pretty non-sensitive, but I think one or two turned out pretty nicely (in a blurred daguerreotype type of way).  At any rate, back to the OP, so what if a guy took the photo?  I would be honored if my friend ever used one of the photos I took.
