Despite the obvious opulence of the settings and the attractive ladies, the bouncing back and forth between her legal job and the dates she is having really emphasize the "its a job" aspect. Posted November 5, 2017 So, reviving this topic as I've binge watched most of the first season over the last few days. It's an interesting show, I guess, but there's no way I buy this girl as a $1000/hr escort. She's not unattractive, but she's also not walk-into-a-pole gorgeous. The main thing is that so far in the season I can count on one hand the number of times she's smiled and I don't think she's actually laughed once. 99.5% of the time the expression on her face is like she just found out her dog died, completely lifeless. Posted November 6, 2017 (edited) Secret Diary of a Call Girl is by far one of my favorite shows of all time. It originally aired on British TV. It's smart, funny, and most of all realistic. It was adapted from a book of the same name. I love the show because it is a true depiction of the highs and lows of being a working girl. I relate to Belle/Hanna a lot.
