I dislike the bashing of conservative Christians by the LGBT crowd, the bashing of the LGBT by conservative Christians, and the destruction of both ancient sites & modern society by radical Islam. As Rodney King said, "can't we just get along!"I never met Angela personally, but her board presence was always balls-out, full speed ahead. Toward the end of her presence here, things got disjointed & strange. I suspect she came from a world of binaries; things were either ON or OFF, with no middle volume. She flipped the switch from pastor to porn star, and has flipped it back again. She was raised a zealot for chastity, became a zealot for porn, and now is part of the anti-porn crusade. Her loss of virginity, despite being an assault(rape), was a major blow to her self esteem & ego. "Good girls" just didn't do such things, even when forced. So, being a "bad girl" she went down the rabbit hole. With a more moderate upbringing, perhaps she would have been better equipped to resolve the assault and move on with her life. I suspect that her weight increase is a lingering result, a subconscious attempt to make herself less attractive.Not to trivialize her assault, but to stigmatize a person to the extent that they can't face their loved ones after such an event is even more egregious. So while her actions may meet the loose standards of English for 'trafficking', I doubt specific accusations would stand up to legal scrutiny, though prostitution, facilitation & pandering might stick. The prison time you mention is more likely related to her substance abuse issues.So let's cut her some slack - she's trying to make amends and get on with her life. Posted August 27, 2015 Kudos for Angela. Escorting can be a tough business . And not all are cut out for it mentally. Add a very religious upbringing to it and I can see why she had issues.
