This must be true both in & out of the bedroom. Someone you want to have as a friend. Does not need to be the love of your life (sometimes she is), but if you can't be friends and respect each other it isn't going to work. Do your world views align sufficently that you're not arguing all the time? Being a "Good person" is a part of that (at least for me). "Rates" must be compatible with my budget. Instead of "Skills" I would put "Attitude"; with the right attitude she can acquire the skills to please me (and I her).

Yeah, compatibility is key. It's what keeps me coming back. I've seen many ladies who fit my initial criteria (see below), but I've never booked a second appointment because the "click" or the spark wasn't there.

Otherwise, I'm echoing what these sage veterans above me have said. Her skills have to be above-average at a minimum, her rates have to allow me to see her on a regular basis, and her attitude must be on a level of "I'm ecstatic to see you whenever you book an appointment".

Some will call it shallow, but what gets me to see her in the first place are her looks/body, and her reviews. She must fit within what I consider to be attractive, and I'm not one to TOFFT. So if those criteria aren't present, I'm not going to see her in the first place, and therefore she'll never have the opportunity to elevate to ATF status.

I agree 100% but would also like to add that there are also the intangibles that are hard to describe...a feeling, the desire that overwhelms you, a certain chemistry between two people. These are all present with an ATF and absent with an ASP who isn't. You know it when it's there but can't describe what it is you're looking for.

I'm a bit shallow when it comes to the hobby. I'm not trying to be rude and I have a lot of respect the ladies that I have seen but I have an SO and friends outside the hobby that I'd rather spend time with if I'm looking for conversation and so does she. When I was living on the East Coast, I had three ATFs in the DC area. All three of them were total cum sluts.

I have to agree with Archetype that looks and (especially) reviews initially draw me to book with someone. There are two things that keep me coming back: effort and attitude.

I usually book through P411, and I'm disappointed at how few gals actually read my P411 profile before a session. A little effort to do that goes a long way with me.

The most important thing for me though is the gal's attitude (or at least acting ability). An ATF candidate has to come across like she's enjoying herself and genuinely wants to spend time with me.

As was mentioned at some point in the thread, my idea of ATF has changed with time, too.

I met a provider very early in my entry into this business, but -- as was also mentioned -- things got too intense and for both our sakes we ended business. (Fortunately, nothing bad happened on either end, but I do look back very fondly on that time.)

Now, some years into this, I don't think I have or will have an single ATF, but rather see a few folks who I like a lot as people and who are physically very compatible --though in differnet ways which is nice. Our visits are very laid back (no pun intended) and seem mutually enjoyable, low maintenance, but fun. (Sort of like going to have a coffee or lunch with a hot female friend, but getting to fuck afterwards.)

Dunno, it works for me and appears to (or they lead me to believe) work for those providers. Either way, I'm pretty happy with things.
