Providers Texting Customers?

44 posts in this topic

"[snip}" texted me, then "[snip}" sent a group text to TWENTY customers. We all got each other's phone numbers. You can imagine the possible problems. I know that a "hobby phone" is smart, but I don't have one. Isn't there some unwritten rule against contacting in this way? Are these girls idiots? An I being to touchy? Freaked me out.

Always remember that providers never keep your personal information. everything including your phone number is deleted immediately after the session is over. with this info in mind the only logical explanation is you were dreaming the whole thing.

I'm wondering what possible answers you could get to your questions that would cause you to do anything other than get a hobby phone.

Are you expecting to find that there is a rule against such behavior, governed by the Ministry of Hooking, and we will start proceedings against this girl? Or that we might all agree that this girl is acting properly and there's no chance of this ending badly for you?

The only answer is - consider this a learning experience and get a hobby phone if you have anything to lose.

Good advice. Here's some more.

If having her text your phone can cause a problem, this would he a good time to change phone service carriers, thus giving you a better phone deal AND a plausible reason to get a new phone number. Because, if your experience matches mine, when you give the provider your new hobby phone number, her phone book will have TWO entries:

Davisp1 (old number)

Davisp2 (hobby number)

BOTH phones will get texted during her next text blitz.

I guarantee it.

As a provider, I am sorry this happen to you. Common since, we are paid to go away after the session. Which means don't bother you, after you walk out the door. If anyone ever gets a text message from me soliciting you, it means I got busted and its not me contacting you, don't bother replying!

I always encourage the gents to get hobby phones.

As a provider, unfortunately this is an accurate statement.

Nope, there are no rules in this hobby. You would think some of these things would be common sense but apparently it's not. If there is any concern for you you're going to need to be more cautious in the future.

So how does her texting you out of the blue equal a no show review? I don't agree with what she did at all but the review isn't accurate.

I understand that you're angry and want to vent but that is what this thread is for.

If there was no session there can be no review. a review of this type would be rejected.

I don't think he can write a review unless she agreed to session.

I read this review and connected the dots...

edit... link for summer bp on 1.4.2015

The review link you wanted (to all reviews of "Summer (BP)") is

http://www.tobreviews.com/index.cfm?show_all_reviews=yes&asp=6183

The link shows that the original poster did reviews of "Summer (BP)" on both 8/30/2014 and 1/04/2015, with the unwanted/unexpected group text mentioned in the more recent review.

Though the ASP screwed up, so did OP. Really?!?! Using a phone that wife, kids, etc, see, can access, out in the open, can see bills, calling history on-line, etc?!?!

Like fork said, get a hobby phone. This kind of stuff happens all the time. Wanna play, expect some indiscreet, dumb, providers out there.

Just curious how that review made it through...

A similar situation occurred a while back with emails. A prolific poster on the board sent out a mass email to her customers and other providers containing email addresses and names.

Common sense tells you to use a burner email address.

Yeah the rule is, I don't call you, you call me, unless otherwise stated. Mass texts are schtoopid and annoying. No wonder so many guys say get a hobby phone, you have to with all the dumb ass mistakes people make. Unbelievable. We are paid to leave, and wait for the guy to hopefully call again. We are paid to keep our mouths shut. Plain and simple. Does this dynamic change? Yes perhaps over time, and previously discussed. Otherwise, I have amnesia until you contact me again.

Most times you can block numbers from contacting you if you have a newer smart phone. Comes off as desperate for a provider to initiate a call or text to a client in my opinion. Sorry this happened to you.

An alternative to getting a hobby fine is to use something like textnow.com. When you register there, you get a phone number and can text (or call, for a fee) through your computer. You can also install their phone app and do the same from your smartphone. This way, when you log out of your textnow account, no one can see any of your communications. Just a thought, it's worked out well for me with much lower cost.

It's more commonly practiced than you would think, girls reach out to guys for appointments all the time. Sometimes it's tacky other times not so much. Depends on the guy and whether or not he is receptive.

It's no more tacky than any other telemarketing call. I get calls reminding me that it's time for service from my car dealer & my dentist. I also get calls trying to sell me insurance, etc.

On the other hand I have a few lady friends who call/text out of the blue to see how life is treating me (w/o mention of appointments). Life is good! Of course this may put other ideas into my head.

Depends on the guy and whether or not he is receptive.

This is so true! Some of us do not have others looking over our shoulders. Others have to be careful regarding communications.

True. I am single and carefree and have a hobby phone. So I don't mind providers sending me an occasional hello message, within reason.

And if they send a mass audience text message (as the OP experienced) and I see the numbers of other clients, then I'll consider it funny and I'll probably look to see if any of my friends are on the list. :)

You could hit "reply all" to a text like that and seriously fuck with people. Something like, "We at the Lakewood Police Department consider prostitution a very serious crime. We aggressively pursue those who victimize women in this way. Your phone number has been logged. We will be in touch soon."

I know, not nice. But funny.

Group texting is obviously not a good idea - I bet she didn't realize that you all would be able to see each others contact info in the text.

Once a provider texted me to tell me she was back in town from San Diego. I told her that I appreciated the heads up but to not use text going forward. That's the only time a text came my way without me being prepared for it.

I only text regularly those who are my friends, or have become my friends. The dynamics of this is not rocket science. And yes, it would be a very tacky way to advertise. Use your head here folks, the one that has eyes.

I only text regulars with specials for the simple fact that they said i could at one point, and i enjoyed the session as well.

Glad I came across this.. ODVIOUSLY it's about me. I'd like to say sorry for the inconvince of the text. Just got back in town from traveling. Gone for 3 months. Came back in town with new phone.. & number. Sent a text out to every one in my contacts letting them no I was back with a new number. It was a discrete text btw. ODVIOUSLY I did not know it sent as a" group text" since my phone does not give me that message. I sent it all out at once so I didn't have to individually have to text 300+ contacts. Again sorry for the inconvince or any problem it may caused.

Of course about this review..... how do I dispute it? Everything written in review is a lie. Notice he had no prior reviews. The way he described things he should of just gave me a terrible review honestly if he thought the experience was that bad. Which it wasn't! Bitching about a puppy I "had" which was a 4 month old puppy that I mentioned I had before arriving that did not disturbe him or appointment in any way and yes was lying under bed. Anyways mentioning teeth gross... NOTHING are wrong with my teeth. He seems to be only one who ever complained about anything in my 3 years of escorting in Denver. Now I see he's trying to change review around to NO SHOW? Um excuse me.. how if no appointment was ever set?? Davisp is a old lying fart! Sorry to say but this irritates me. I don't think anyone could satisfy him. Providers I'd be aware of him. He may lie on you next.

So, let me get this straight: you committed a grievous breach of decorum, and HE is at fault????

Now I know where the term "bat shit crazy" comes from.
