Using your real name

104 posts in this topic

The original post was about using your real name at any point. The, what if scenarios, are interesting and could happen in the industry and in civilian life. There is at least one bat shit crazy person in most neighborhoods and many more on the road, so you are never completely safe from being called on something you did or did not do. All you need to do is look the wrong way at some of these folks and the shit could hit the fan. My neighborhood bat shit CRAZY, has reported just about every neighbor to various city and county agencies for imagined or made-up situations. You just can not be completely free of these people, in the industry or not, if they are OCD enough to keep pushing to create chaos.

I don't use my real name for a reason and the wisdom of that decision has been confirmed by the responses to this post. Based on the responses perhaps I will not only use a fake name, burner cell but also obtain an license tag that is not mine to put on my car when visiting a provider. Or would that that make me paranoid and bat shit crazy.

Guess I will just keep studying the reviews and visiting providers suggested by other providers.

... and visiting providers suggested by other providers.

Off topic, but some of my best experiences have resulted from following these referrals :D

Please, do not obtain a fake license tag to put on your car. Given that police run tags while just cruising around (to check for warrants, revoked licenses etc), that would throw up red flags for them left and right, and I doubt you want to have to explain why your tag does not match the vehicle you are driving. If you are that paranoid, just park far away and walk!

The following was said tongue in cheek :P"...also obtain an license tag that is not mine to put on my car when visiting a provider. Or would that that make me paranoid and bat shit crazy." I honestly hope that no one thought it was serious. Even when writing it I could imagine trying to explain the bogus tag. That is why I put in the question "Or would that that make me paranoid and bat shit crazy.":)

Considering the ladies don't accept unblocked calls, how is one supposed to keep their name coming up on caller ID ?

LOL...sorry...I did think you were serious given the overall level of paranoia in the thread!

And just for the record, 90% of clients I see have given out real world info...P411 or not.

Someone is showing their age? Like from the days when dinosaurs roamed the earth and people had landlines? ;)

I can't recall the details, but, assuming both parties are using cell phones, the phone number does get passed, but due to various network/line incompatibilities, and that generally, a telco has to lookup the number against a database to get a name, a name tied to a phone number generally does not get passed to the callee (assuming ASPs are not sitting by a landline).

And in the case of burner cells, guessing no names associated with number.

For example, Verizon & ATT, on their help pages, state that you will only see a name if the caller is in your cell phone's contacts list.

In the case of my cell number, it shows up as "Wireless Caller" on landlines. And on many of the online lookup databases, they list the phone number being associated with my prior cell provider (have been on this "new" provider 6 years).

So, unblocked, yeah, number shows up, but still can try getting by with a fake name.

Then what's the point of this post?

translation: honesty leads to horniness

Gotta be kidding me...um, you expect us to believe that you become a wildcat because you (think) you have a real name? And why should we care if you're horny, anyway?

do whats best for you and ill continue to do whats best for me.

Thanks for your permission - didn't know we needed it.

wow. sound like a very angry person. can imagine what your sessions are like.

im happy. everythings cool here. have done fine without your acknowlegement as well.

the point of the post since youre having trouble deciphering is a message if appreciation. your words offer nothing of substance to me other than sending me the message that i will use one of the board options offered to members. thank god for that!

Are you saying we should agree to disagree? That's fine with me. I was just wondering if you really though we johns were naive enough to believe that giving our real names makes you horny...

av8r missed the point again, she was basically saying thank you to the guys who offer transparency and that HONESTY was a turn on, but nice try on twisting the words there.

You don't read anything at all obviously, try finding a real argument your attempts at being condescending would pull more weight

This is not true.Paranoid much?

Unfortenly, this has happened to me. When I got outed they stole my license plates.

I went down and name change on the vehicle, got new plates.

This is true. At least one hooker mentioned on the board that she writes down thE John's license plate number in case something happens. I am sure she is not alone and I am not saying it is a bad thing just that it happens.

Your right, she did mention she does down the guys license plate number. But I cant seem to find the post. The way I see it, the provider openly admitted she does it for safety, but not to bring harm to any one.

Don't put words in my mouth. I suspect I'm doing a lot more good than you, though -- paranoid or not, I'm right. Just ask the guys who HAVE been outed.
I was debating on weather or not I should reply to this. I thought about all today. For those gentlemen think that being outed is no big deal, or that it doesn't matter. Iv decided to list off just a few things the individual did to me.

#1: Flyered my neighbor hood where I lived.

#2: Flyered my family's relatives homes, there neighbors, and relativitas place of employment.

#3: Tapped big poster size copies of my escortboards.net advertising on my cars.

#4: Stole my license plates to my cars.

#5: Sent me threats by text msg and email.

#6: Spoofed me by email to certain clients, local providers and traveling providers.

#7: Told clients I have HIV, HERPES. None of this true. I test every 90/120 days. So far I been lucky not to have contracted anything.

#8: Telling lies to clients I am dangerous.

#9: Told clients I robed their mothers n great grandma jewelry from the home. I went to jail.

This never happened.

#10: Threatened to murder me.

#11: Sent pictures of me, to me. lol

#12: Emailed all my facebook friends telling them I am hooker.

Funny thing is, I don't lie about being an escort. Even my friends know.

#13: Telling clients- falsely Accused me of dating moderators on ECCIE, and TOB.

#14: called child protective services on me.

#15: Called the police on me.

#16: Faxed in copies of my advertising into the hotels, so I would get kicked out of the hotel or busted.

#17: Called the Wyoming police told them I'm drug addict, pimping kids, hooking.

#18: Slashed the tires on my cars.

There is more this person did to me.... I left out 75% of the other bullshit that this person did to me.

NOW TELL ME IT DOES NT MATTER...... LMFAO

For me... this has not stooped me. I'm still join strong. But, what about the guys who have something to lose?

I stand by what I said 2 years ago on the subject.

The provider, no matter how "reputable", can turn you life upside down in 5 minutes if they have enough information about you. I do value my reputation with friends, family and neighbors.

Yes, ASP's have a need to feel safe. Unfortunately, we have know idea who is going to flip out if their panties get in a knot.

I agree. So the gentlemen who are giving out your personal information STOP NOW. Protect yourself. Get a p411 account.

AS far I am concerned everyone in this business hooker john is bat shit crazy on some level.

so do what you do and be done with it.

I will add that if there is no other intent other than seeing the escort and moving on with your life, there is not a hell of a lot to worry about and I have said this before, with my guys, after a few visits I do actually level the playing field and give them my real world info.

Never EVER give out your personal info -- ESPECIALLY your real name.

Have you been reading this board at all? There are tons of threads on this subject.

Bottom line, there are plenty of hookers who will see you without invasive screening. Schedule with one of them. It's just not worth the risk of having. The first time some bat-shit crazy hooker who gets her panties in a twist causes you problems, you'll thank me for this advice.

When a bat shit crazy trick goes apeshit, what info does the hooker give the cops?

With all this anonymity required by tricks, one of these days the ladies are going to clue in and have to employ other methods of identifying the bat shit crazy tricks to authorities. Then these very same BSC tricks will have more to cry about.

I advocate this, do what is most comfortable as there are BSC people on both sides that need to be held accountable if things start circling the drain.

Hey to tell you this, but for ages my cell phone number came up without my name on other cell phones, NOW it does. Did cell phone technology advance to called ID ? Obviously. :( BTW.. I use Verizon.

I never use my board handle. And my name is on the door when the girl arrives. Makes no difference to me.

Edited to add:

Oh boy, there is a lot of panic and misinformation in this thread. Could write a long response, but I'll just say this: the odds of running into a "batshit crazy provider hellbent on ruining your reputation and your life" are lower than the odds of getting a free bj from Scarlett Johannson.

If you're a priest or a Republican running for office on a "morality platform", things are different.

If, like me, you're just a single, horny, middle-aged guy...it usually doesn't matter whether you give out your real name or not, or use your own phone, or not.

Trust me, it's far more common than you think it is. All you need to do is write a negative review or cancel an appointment on the wrong person, and you will fell the wrath to one degree or another.

If you don't have a real life to protect, that concern is far less than it would be for someone who does. However, pretending that the incidence of problems is akin to being hit by lightening is pulling the wool over the eyes of the community.

The bad date sites are loaded with BS and exaggerated reports, the majority of them including real life information and available through a simple google search.
