Age aint nothin' but a number... or is it?

91 posts in this topic

With all of the discussion on here as of late regarding misrepresentation/bait & switch (i.e.fake/stolen photos, stolen/copied names, etc.) I'm just curious about everybody's thoughts when a provider lies about her age...

I recently talked to a provider who is considerably older than she advertises. And I'm not talking about 2 or 3 years... I mean SEVERAL years older (15 years!). Now, to her credit, she looks extremely good for her age (at least according to her pictures. I haven't actually met her in person). But should that make a difference? Isn't a lie still a lie?

And then I was reminded of a provider I saw a few months ago... her pictures are real, but she doesn't show her face. Her ads say she is a specific age. But when I met her in person, I could tell right away that she was much older than what she advertised. After our session, we were hanging out and chatting for a bit, during which time she actually voluteered her real age (I didn't even ask). She revealed that she was a lot older than she advertised... 13 years older!

Now, I can understand a provider... for vanity reasons... lowballing her age 2 or 3 years. But when you start lying about your age by more than a decade... I'm thinking that's crossing a line.

The funny thing about the aforementioned provider I saw, she's actually getting younger... at least according to her ads. I noticed she has shaved another 2 years off her age since last year. Something that I find very surprising is that she is well reviewed on here and 99.9% of her reviews are 'Fantastic'. Every reviewer has listed her age as being the age she advertises. I'm wondering if maybe she asked them not to reveal her real age in their reviews or if they really do think she is the age she advertises (which I would find hard to believe...it's very easy to tell she's much older).

A question for the ladies... do you REALLY think we (the "hobbyists") are that dumb/gullible that we can't tell you're actually older than you say you are...or...you think we just won't care when we find out how old you really are?

A question for the guys... does a provider's age really matter to you? Do you view misrepresentation of age in the same light as misrepresentation of photos and activities offered?

Yes it matters! Imagine ordering a porterhouse and getting delivered a porkchop. Borh will fillyou up but its not what you ordered

Yes It matters. However, age is only a number to me. While an escort should never advertise her real age for safty and security, its not a good idea to say your 20 years old when you look 30/40/50. Advertising within reason is best. If your advertiseing you are 20 years old and you look 30 35 40 thats fucking nuts!

There is flip side to this. If a provider is advertising her real age and she has a stalker who is trying to hurt her or out her, she just made it that much easier locate her and cause harm. Invade in her privacy.

Here is suggestion, the way I advertise my age: I ask gentlemen who have seen me to be honest and tell me how old I look. I mention, I need an honest answer. Since, I will use it for my advertising. I go by how other men see me. Not what I think I should say.

It only matters if she is obviously not looking the age she advertises or underage. And yes most johns are that gullible. This business is built on lies so what's your point? If you haven't met her how do you know her age is different than advertised? From other johns and they don't lie?

Seen this lady before she advertised mid 20's, later found out she was late 30's always thought she was in her 20's.

A provider's age does not matter to me. I don't even look for it in ads.

I'd guess more than 50% of the women in the U.S. lie about their age. Therefore, it seems pointless to even pay attention to it, regardless of occupation.

Far more important for this board - does she give most guys a good time? :)

Yes it matters. Of course she's going round down a little, but her advertised age should be in the ballpark. Not 10+ years off.

You're walking into a minefield here. had a model ask me how old I thought she was, guessed that she was ten years older than her actual age . Talk about PISSED ! Haven't seen her since.

That said, recall way too vividly the number of escorts that walked into the old Oyster office, placing their ad with pictures that were at least ten-fifteen years old.

Agree with Nikki that shaving off a year or two is fine ,for security reasons. But ladies.if you're in your 40's..don't try to pass yourself off as being in your 20's. Men like what they like ,be truthfull about everything...hair color, weight, age (etc )...the more honest you are..the fewer "walk aways " and more repeat business you're going to get.

Now, who's going to post that " oh,not this shit again ' picture ?

YES, it's important! It's would be criminal if a {forbidden} rounded her age up to legal!

That said, I'm not real fussy about age provided the listed age seems to be w/in a decade of how she looks, or more importantly acts. I tend to prefer the more mature providers anyway for GFE level sessions; we tend to have more interests in common.

And as Pfunk says, the most important factor is "Did you have a good time?"

If age isn't important, why advertise an age in the first place?

The answer is that age IS important. Go ahead and lie by a few years if it makes you feel better, but more than a decade is bullshit. Good way to get you turned away from the door without so much as cab fare.

I will speak only for myself as I am not the voice of all hookers. I lie all the time. I have to lie in order to create the illusion of being a "girlfriend" to a guy I would not date in real life let alone sleep with.

What I do not lie about is my weight and age. In fact I don't state an actual age. So the guy can make his age guess and live happily ever after. Nor do I have out of date images so there are no nasty surprises.

So I am thinking that lying for certain things to keep the illusion is okay but lying about age and weight is not as it can negatively effect the experience.

As far as activities offered, there is a very good reason I will not state what I do ANYWHERE. I am not about to be visited by Stinky Magoo and have to do something on a guy that is gross. If he passes the sniff and visual tests, well then I can go about pretending to be his girlfriend who is delighted he came over to visit.

Yes it matters.

It's not smart to do business with liars.

Who says you're hot and good in the sack? Seriously, hookers are liars for a living. How on earth do you think we create the illusion of being your BF? Especially if the guy is say 60 and the hooker is 25? Really, she is not lying to that guy? You might want to get a clue or a reality check about what this biz really is all about. I call it Fantasy Island but with no plane.

I can't tell whether your question is a generalized rhetorical one, or if you are specifically referring to first the provider I mentioned in my post. So, I'll just go ahead and clarify...

I'm not trying to "out" anyone here, so in the interest of discretion I'll refrain from naming names. There's a provider who advertises her age in her early 30's. She has a p411, her own website and also in addition to her presence on here, she advertises on various other sites. She PM'd me on here and during the course of our correspondence, she revealed her actual age (late 40's). I've never met her in person, nor have I had any contact with her outside of this forum but the info came directly from her, so it wouldn't be considered hearsay...

Also... just curious... why would a john lie? I'm not disagreeing with you and saying that they dont. I'm just wondering why they would/do. That's one aspect of this "hobby" that bothers me... I thought the guys were supposed to be looking out for each other (in this case, literally "bros before ho's"). So if a john lies to a fellow john about a provider, it completely undermines everything... in my opinion. For that matter, how can any of the reviews be considered reliable? But, I digress.

While I totally understand an escort's need for safety/security, I don't understand how concealing her actual age would really protect her. Nor do I see how a stalker would be able to "out" someone just because of her age. It's not like you can just 'google' "35-year-old Colorado hooker" and expect the woman you're stalking to instantly pop up.

I would think that a provider plastering her pictures all over the internet would be much more of a security concern.

I agree. And I am a mature provider who uses her real age in advtertising. I wouldn't have it any other way. I am blessed with a young body, and I think I look my age. This is how god intended me to look, and be. I earned my age, and I am proud of it and myself. I was born 1962, you do the math.:)

WTF Dude? Now you're the age police? You chose poorly....I want to be the blow job police.

What I want to know is......what ever happened to good manners? Why be such a troglodyte?

If a lady reveals something to me in confidence.....that is where it stays. Sheesh.

When I hobby, I've always got a couple of twenties in my back pocket. If the lady that opens the door is too old, young, fat, skinny, ugly, or your momma........tell her she's not what you were expecting, apologise for the loss of time, hand her a 20, and LEAVE. Thats not that hard, is it? No need to be rude or nasty. For the record....I've never had to use them.

Look....there's a reason you and I are referred to as TRICKS. Deal with it. And try to develope some manners.......you might get laid more often.

All advertising ultimately stretches the truth, and standard hooker math must generally be applied to all photos/descriptions. Add 5 to 10 years and 10-or-more pounds. Fortunately, they drive us crazy with lust even with the extra years and extra pounds. Because WE TOO have the extra years and extra pounds.

In my mind, at least 5 years and 10 lbs is to be expected 99% of the time, and I think that's acceptable. 10 years and 20 lbs is probably more common though, which is neither here nor there for me, since I'm not a client.

If I were a client, I'd probably just tack on 10 years and 20 lbs as being the worst case scenario I would stick with and cross my fingers. Anything more than that would be unacceptable (to me) though.

I do not now , nor ever add ten years- trust me, I can wait for it. So count me out of your little diatribe.

I have never lied about my age....I'm 39 and have been escorting since i was 25. When guys ask me my age I tell them. Their reaction is priceless....well you look much younger. I never saw the point of lying about my age, I'm not going to be stalked by telling my age, and there isn't a threat to my safety. I have found over the years that lying takes too much work. My name is the only "lie" I wish to tell.

To the OP, if you haven't met the provider, why bring it up? And if her reviews are mostly fantastic, she is clearly doing something right regardless of her age, which she is clearly open to telling you without a problem. If you think she is too old, move on. These comments to me sound like you are just trying to stir the pot.

And with age often comes experience, warmth, and brains, all of which add to the experience. Not universally true of course.

WHOOOOOAAAAH, NELLY! Settle down there, big hoss! I never said or even implied anything about being any kind of "police". I know I'm still a "newbie" by most accounts and only post on this board sporadically, but my understanding is that this is a forum where we can discuss such things. Is it not? I never said I had a problem... you merely inferred it.

Secondly, nothing was said to me in confidence... she didn't tell me her age and then ask me to keep hush-hush about it. In fact, like I stated, I didn't even ask her about her age... she volunteered that information (if she voluntarily revealed her actual age to me, then that raises the question as to why she'd feel the need to lie about her age in her ads in the first place). Besides, I didn't "out" her, did I??? Do you know who I'm talking about? No, you don't! So slow your role, there big fella.

And who said anything at all about being rude or nasty? I was courteous and respectful with her... just as I always am.

As far as manners go... I'd be more inclined to heed your advice if you practiced what you preach. Calling someone a troglodyte and implying that they don't get laid doesn't exatcly make you Mr. Etiquette.

Dick.

You're right... obviously it didn't bother me or else I would've called her out on it and not proceeded with the session. I was trying to say that it's more a matter of principle than anything else.

Truth be told... I actually have a "thing" for older women. Maybe it's a cougar/milf fantasy... I dunno. The point I was trying to make is... well, now that I think of it... I'm not really trying to make any point. I'm merely asking the members of this forum if they see it as another instance of bait & switch.

And I didn't post a review. I don't post reviews for a few different reasons... #1. I'm only an occasional "hobbyist". I see 2, maybe 3 girls a year, if that. #2. If a provider has 30 reviews and they're all 'Fantastic', then a guy comes along and posts a review that is 'Good-better than average'. Do you honestly think that anybody is going to pay attention to that one review? As with everything else in life... majority rules. Me posting a review is and adding my two cents is pretty much moot.

#3. In order to post a review, you have to register separately... I'm too lazy and it's not worth it to me if I'm only gonna post 1 or 2 reviews a year.

Look, I'll try to be nicer if you'll try to be smarter.

YOU are the one that started this thread. YOU are the one that felt compelled to mention age being listed incorrectly by a provider. Therefore, YOU are the one that seems to have a problem with it. It's a little late to play "poor, innocent me."

The rest of are just here shaking our heads and shrugging our shoulders.

Because the moderators enjoy zinging me with infractions, I'm gonna keep this short and simple.... "Mr. Bubbly Boo".

Yes... I am the one who started this thread and I am the one who mentioned age being listed incorrectly (i.e. bait & switch). So what? Your point is....?

Again, I reiterate... I never said I had a problem. Just seeing what everyone else thinks.

As far as "poor innocent me". (sigh)

Are you this big of a dick everytime someone posts a thread in which the topic is bait & switch? Geez.
