Newbie Question: What is 411 on Asian Massage Parlors

I'm not a total newbie to the sport, but just recently discovered the joys of FBSMs and see lots of ads for "Asian Massage Parlors." These appear to be above the radar established businesses, but what exactly happens when you pay their "above Massage Envy" fees?

Do you get happy endings, whatsa deal?

Anyone have any recommendations of any such places that do provide happy endings? Any particular providers?

To be clear, I am not a do-it-yourselfer, and suspect that will be the answer, but would love to be pleasantly surprised to find out that happy endings exist.

You'll get, in most cases, a very mechanical happy ending for generally about $20. If you want more most places provide it and the rates vary from $60-$100 on top of the massage. You just have to discreetly tell them up front what you want. Most places assume you want a happy ending. "After all," one girl once said to me, "you don't want to leave sad, do you?" (as she grabbed my $20 bill out of my hand).

If you are just looking for a good massage and a quick release then you could do worse and the price is reasonable. If you are looking for a GF experience or a girl who is more into what she is doing you'll want to get an escort. In my experience, the best way is to find ladies who you're interested on BP, TOB, EB, etc. and then check out reviews here on TOB. I have learned to never go with an escort without some kind of a review or referral. Too much $ at stake to end up unhappy.

Hobbying is like gardening, though, the only way you learn to garden is by killing things and it seems that the only way most guys learn about hobbying is by getting burned a few times - usually at an AMP or an inexperienced girl on BP who is earning drug money. Just like everything, you get what you pay for (it does help if you treat the girls with respect). Happy hobbying!

Not sure what town you are in, but two AMPs in Fort Collins got shut down by LE recently, including one I had been to five times. That's a scary thought, and it means that AMPs in Fort Collins (and Longmont I believe) are on the radar. I suspect Denver is too vast, and it's unlikely that LE gives a damn in a big city where "real" crime is happening. I could be wrong.

You can/will get a happy ending at many (probably 70%) of AMPs. Bottom line is you must make it clear that you are not LE. Take a few liberties and give the lady a feel. She'll get your drift. Ask for "the special," or be even more blunt than that.

I believe $40 is the standard tip for an HE, and you can simply provide that up front -- which is also a good way to make it clear. I have not done any more than HE, but once I gave my $40 tip ahead of time and she flat-out asked after I was at attention, "What's your favorite position?" Beyond HE, I suspect the negotiations vary quite a bit. I wouldn't know.

Keep in mind that most HEs at AMPs are along the lines of "attack the member" and get it done. Most, not all.

I'm not so sure about that. I recall reading on here through the years about Denver AMP busts that became publicized. And the last time I checked, just because Denver has "real" crime (whatever that is) doesn't mean the cops don't give tickets for things like jaywalking, speeding, etc... They certainly do enforce the prostitution statutes, I'm pretty sure of that. IMO, going to an AMP is a whole lot riskier than seeing an escort as long as you do at least a tiny bit of research on said escort.

Sowet is absolutely worthless for getting any kind of real info. There's more helpful info in this thread than you will find in all the threads on Sowet put together. The guy who runs that site gets paid to direct gents to certain amp's so that is his sole objective. If you have a bad experience at one of the places he pushes you to visit, he'll never let you say so on his board. If a gent posts a negative review somewhere else, he'll post on his board that he spoke to the amp in question, and has decided that the gent was lying and never even visited the spa. Quite a scam he's got going over there.

Like was said earlier, very mechanical, but quick and easy. I have found that I pay the house, then leave the tip on the table. CBJ usually runs about 80-100, at least in FTC that I have seen, and that is on top of the house money. But I have seen some girls offer FS for that price as well at a certain ASP, but that may be because I was a regular, or they started offering more once there were more ASPs in town. I usually set that on the table in the room when left alone for a few minutes. Ask for a shower, or say yes when asked if you want one.

Other thing I noticed was the first time I went and another after I had not gone in a long time, they only offered HJ. I assumed that they got in less trouble for that if I happened to be LE, but am not exactly sure. Once the Mamasan recognized me, they offered whatever.

it's been several years since i frequented an amp but look on sowet.com to find places that cater to your interest. usually the mamason at the door is the one to negotiate with. expect a table shower followed by your heart's desire if you pony up cash to the provider once you're in the room. she'll know what to do based on the size of your 'tip'

funny thing tho - every time i've gone to one, the girl 'cums' simultaneously with you - guess it's a cultural thing. hell i've even had one give me a shave (on my face) in a hot tub and others fix me lunch afterwards. maybe i just got lucky but don't be an 'ugly american' (marlon brando movie reference) and you should leave with a smile on your face every time.

Korean AMPs are substantially happier than Chinese ones, and the "tip" reflects that accordingly. As with ASPs there is a very wide range of services and attendant costs.

Had not heard that, ink. I don't have enough personal experience to verify that, but I certainly believe your assessment of the "general consensus." My last two AMP experiences were both Chinese. One was barely legit, and the other was decidedly not legit.

And in the case of the Golden bust, it was the feds that shut them down, not JeffCo or Golden. Money laundering.

Kinda sorta like the old Denver Pleasures/Sugar: feds going after taxes and wire fraud, Denver piling on due to residential neighbors complaining about constant stream of men all day and night.

Law doesn't not care, local law only seems to care when there are complaints or when funding increases are desired. AMPs, IMO, make for easy ASP busts because they're static and can play up the trafficing angle.

The Internet is a double-edged sword in these cases. Good info for potential customers and good info for LE. I think it would be more prudent to put out "disinformation" about AMPs. That is, complain that they are "strictly legit" when the opposite is true. I know for a fact that the recent FC bust was directly caused by Internet recommendations.

They don't stay UTR for long. Since this topic is broad (411 on AMPs), I'm curious if you know whether Tokyo and Joy -- or any others for that matter -- managed to nab customers. Or do they just "shut them down"?

The recent shut downs in FC did not mention any customers being "caught." The thought of laying on that table -- 55 minutes of which is simply a legit massage -- and having LE walk in -- well the thought scares the holy living beejesus out of me. Would I be arrested just for being there? I don't really know, and I don't want to ponder it for too long. I guess I would follow the advice often given here -- say nothing, absolutely nothing. Become mute.

I would stay away from AMP's if possible. I went to one once and it was not a good experience.

Personally I stick to the independent providers that post on EB/p411, possibly the occasional backpage fbsm provider. There are several that I see regularly, if you're interested just pm me.
