Posted April 20, 2013 i've read a book called The Four Agreements... It is very insightful and I absolutely fell in love the first time I read, I had to read it five more times The Four Rules in the book are: 1. Be impeccable with you word 2. Never take anything personal 3. Never make assumptions 4. Always do your best How do y'all feel about these rules for life.... Do you think these four rules are the fundamentals of personal growth? or not? Any feedback is welcome...

Posted April 25, 2013 The way that I view the 'agreements' is that they can help us conserve a great deal of mental and emotional energy. If you believe that these are related to physical energy (I do), then you will have a lot more energy for your life. And your life will become better focused on what is right for you. But you have to be ready for the extra energy and not waste it. Just my two cents.
Posted April 26, 2013 Now that would be a waste of energy. I think the Four Agreements is consistent with Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy as well as whatever insights one would get from meditation, yoga, tai chi, or Chi Kung. But maybe Oprah does cover this.

Posted April 26, 2013 IMHO it is just like prayer or any other experience which totally internal and personal; the truth of it cannot be conveyed to anyone else. And if a person is not open to it then there is no use.
