This is a question about a lifestyle or career of escorts.

Many BP ads and some on EB are from out of state escorts. They have reviews, past ads in other states. This question is for your average escort, not the 10k per night stuff who makes enough to fly anywhere.

So I ask, why? If your from say Fargo ND, I understand checking out Denver, and if you like it, then staying. But if your from Fargo and do the US tour, why?

From a profit point of view, wouldn't staying and building a clientele be better? I'd think always being a stranger would have many disadvantages.

From a fun point of view? Maybe, but aren't clients in one city pretty much the same as another?

Legal? Bad situation? This would end eventually.

I'm sure there is a great explanation.

I'll take a swing at this based on conversations I've had.

Who says that the traveling escort doesn't have a regular clientele? Just because they're on a circuit doesn't mean they don't have repeat customers. Travelling expands their client base.

If you're from Fargo, moving to Denver will expand your client base. But if you also travel to Chicago, Boston, and San Francisco, your client base goes up exponentially.

Some people like to travel, to see new places, to meet new people. If you can write off the business expenses, why not? You just have to keep the books for your consulting business pristine.

Pricing is another consideration. Here in Denver we often hear from out-of-town providers about how depressed (depressing?) rates are. The reverse is also true - there are opportunities for higher rates in other markets. But then again, other costs (hotel, food, etc.) are may be higher too.

On the downside, a travelling escort often doesn't know the lay of the land WRT LE, bad clients, etc. But just as the Internet has helped clients, it has also become an information highway for providers.

From a client's perspective, travelling escorts require more research. IMHO there is a larger percentage of scam artists because they move on to the next town when a bad reputation develops.

I used to tour (and getting ready to do it again). I would go on a Thursday and stay through Sunday and in those few days I would generally make 2000 bucks. I would go to rural towns, get deposits first to ensure I wouldn't be no showed, screen heavily, and I built up regulars across the country. Touring is very very profitable if done right

2-years ago, I had pretty much retired and took off on a journey of cultural discovery, self exploration, and educational classes on spirituality in Asia. After a year, I really missed my work.
